In case there is any confusion about the "rooms" and their purposes:

• Dining Hall: In the RP sense, people come here to get the latest gossip, so all RP Logs should be put here.
• Hall of Heroes: For RP purposes, this where statues and portraits of Arcaean heroes are displayed (with explanatory plaques too of course). This is a page for both the living and dead heroes of Arcaea. Most importantly though, it should detail how, when, and where a hero has died, and if possible, the hero's exploits before his/her untimely demise.
• Military Archives: This is where reports of all of Arcaea's major battle should be stored
• Throne Room: For RP purposes, this is where the current Queen/King receives visitors and sits on a pretty little throne looking all high and mighty. On the wiki, this should tell of the current and past rulers of Arcaea, how and why they died, and what they accomplished during their reign.
• Library: This is where people on the wiki should be able to find a history of Arcaea. The Ossaet Archives should be linked on this page.
• Hall of Nobility: Kind of like the Hall of Heroes but it holds a bunch of family trees that show each of the noble families of Arcaea's lineage. For the wiki, it should list all of the nobles my region. In the future, it might even contain some kind of marker to show which nobles participated in which battles following the Kingdom of Alluran model
• Map Room This room is strictly for RP information. To do: history of the Canyon, River, Forests, and any other interesting geographical features (the Rock of Chesny's Nose or something like that).
• Temple: This links to whatever is Arcaea's major religion. Currently links to the MAE wiki.
• Guilds: For RP purposes, it's the guild registrar and where all guild paperwork is sent. It's a place where the different guilds and their purposes should be explained. To tell the truth, this nor the temple was really necessary, but I had extra space on the map to fill xD.
• Jenred and Edara's Love Nest: No link right now, perhaps the door is locked, and you need to find the key...but something tells me that there are somethings that shouldn't be disturbed, like sleeping dogs, dragons, and love nests. For RP purposes, it's where the Royal Ambassador does all his paperwork...among other things.

Changes to the page

I'm curious, comparing Arcaea's page to most others, there are many marked differences in both appearance and structure, especially in regards to short summary at the top and the directory at the bottom leading to all the different rooms. Would it be better to include more information on our military and the realm on the main page, or should we update and/or revamp the directory... or do both? As nice as the 'Past, Present, Future' thing looks, I think a change would be a good idea. Including more information would work. I think that the directory at the bottom is awesome, although I'll admit it's not exactly the clearest thing to work with. --Hroppa 09:06, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

I was thinking of making a more clear description of the realm on the left... maybe keep some of the elements of the P-P-F thing for history, but also work on showing more about the realm than it does otherwise. Then it would probably be a good idea to move the map of the palace below the directory... finally the issue of the directory is still there. It is small, but I suppose people would still read it if placed in the right place. I've started to flesh out some of the links there. --Aerywyn 00:40, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
