Unknown in origin, this is a very large kite shield found in Mimer; on the left side, a depiction of Sartan stands with sword pressed downward; on the right side, the figure of the legendary warrior Ascanius locked in mortal combat with a screaming beast resembling a minotaur. The owner of the shield evokes a time of lost heroes and legends in the early days of Dwilight.
