• During the Battle of Krimml, 28th June 1012, the Royal Guard provided the Westmoorian contingent of a Perdanese attack on the Fontanese capital. During the siege, Lord Armstrong wounded Sir Rosnan Sarwell of Fontan (Knight of Krimml, Fontan).

• On 19 July 1012, two knights of the Royal Guard, Dame Cassandra Foxglove and Lord Armstrong, skirmished against three knights of Sirion in Commonyr. The defending Sirionites won the skirmish, but not without heavy casualties. Dame Cassandra wounded Sir Zidane Soulja of Sirion (Knight of Tabost, Sirion), and Lord Armstrong wounded Sir Reichter Sammis of Sirion (Knight of Slimbar, Sirion). It was a glorious battle for the Royal Guardsmen.

A month or so later, Count Armstrong became the Marshal of the Headbusters leading the An Najaf Ministers-at-Arms, a civil outfit. The Roughnecks have returned to their homes in An Najaf until the Count is ready to recall them to battle.)
