Fontan (Realm)/Fontan Rangers

History
Founded by Lord Lorrie Furion Archbane and sponsored by him until his death, the Rangers were originally formed as a small elite branch of the Fontan Strike Regiment whose purpose was to aid in border defense and to raid behind enemy lines in response to attacks. After Lord Lorrie Furion's death Lord Malfurion enlisted the aid of his former liege Duke Richard in order to keep the army alive and functioning during the continuing war. It was during this time that the army's numbers swelled and it became a full fledged army of Fontan.
Ranger's Banner
The Ranger's banner is the Griffin, a protective symbol representing both strength and vigilance in Fontan's defense. It is seen on a field of black to mourn the Ranger's fallen and above a field of red to signify the blood spilled on their behalf.
