Dirrik is the son of our sister Juil, who married a lesser noble from Westmoor before I left for Atamara. He has taken after our side of the family, adopting the Hobbs name to more easily gain respect. Avoiding the deep family conflict in our homelands, he first headed to the south to Fallangard, but was so quickly angered by the poor leadership there that he boarded a ship for the New World as soon as he could afford one. He has never been one for keeping in touch with family, so I know little of his "adventures" - though I have heard from other sources he has already been named Duke and commands a third of Enweil's army. I also hear that he tends to be as brash as Balimon - I just hope he isn't as eager to die.
