I began leading followers into battle in Omsk, before it's fall. I was young and inexperienced, and we as a people were overwhelmed. As the armies of Sirion closed in, the great Tokanan predicted our eventual defeat and departed for Atamara, inviting us all to follow him to find new prosperity. Since my parents had already died, I took leave of my close friends and boarded a ship of my own. Thus began a new life in a new world.

My rise through the ranks of Hasland began soon after Boeth had united the kingdom under his mighty leadership, and I was first rewarded with the title of Captain of the Guard, and later, I was given the title of Duke of Shanandoah after the suicide of the previous duke. This was a short-lived office, though, as Hasland was giving up control of the city to her sister kingdom Southasland.

I joined Southasland with my city, but under the new government, the Dukeship was given to another noble. I commanded my men through four seiges by the Cagilan Army during the Great War, as they tried in vain to destroy our Kingdom. With the loss of our leaders Tokanan and Kerithrion, and the abdication of the third of our highes nobles, Blitz, I advanced to the throne on a campaign of peace and diplomacy.

Matters were complicated by Blitz's unjustified assassination of Eston's King, which led to bartering away the city of Shanandoah in exchange for peace. Conflict over the farmlands in Lothruin brought us to war with Eston and her allies. I led the war against Minas Ithil myself, riding in the front lines with my cavalry, fighting against armies that outnumbered us ten to one. I was captured during one battle and tortured by Dead_Angel2, who died just days later in battle against our allies. Another noble took the throne of Southasland in my absense, after which I served first as Arch Priest, then High Marshal, and even interim King a few times when our leader was wounded.

I attempted one more time to retire when a new, fast-rising noble named Eidolon came to the throne. He held the same beliefs and high standards of integrity and righteousness as I did, and I trusted in his abilities to lead Southasland in the right direction. Very soon after he took office, he arranged an end to the poorly-chosen war with Ash Sea Islands, but disappeared with only a cryptic note, leaving our realm in political turmoil yet again. I gained support to return as King, and have regrown our friendships with ASI and Norland. We have even taken part in removing the Leohampton rebels from power with the defeat of their illegitimate "Tuchanon II" regime.

I have sent my men to battle one last time, this time to raid the frozen lands of the Viking raiders themselves. After this campaign, I will be retiring for good, and settling down to live out my last years in peace. I don't know who will replace me this time, but I must have faith and trust in the same people who put their trust in me for all these years.

Kodak died in his sleep shortly after moving back to his family mansion in Rotherthorpe.
