Greybrook Family/Ferdinand
Ferdinand Greybrook is currently the Grand Master, ruler of Obia'Syela. Coming to the shores of Avengmil in the search for religion, Ferdinand found his belief in the Heralds of Obeah. Settling into Prophet's Landing in Rines, Ferdinand work diligently within the military arm of the Theocracy to earn his place as Marshal of it's core army under the mentor-ship of the Vahanian Blint and naturally became Vahanian's successor as Grand Templar, general of Obeah's armies. Ferdinand led the completion of the Enlightenment, the religious expansion of the Obia'Syela into the southern peninsula and beyond where the cities of Grehk, Irombro and Jidington were taken. With the completion of this task, Ferdinand did not know the impact of the events that were set in motion. Despite the advice of Ferdinand and the Sacred Court, the Oracle authorised the creation of the independent Duchy of Jidington, now known as Lux Nova. The religious freedom permitted in the realm allowed the creation of the Light of Obeah. This heresy threw Ferdinand into imbalance and rage which was perhaps only quelled by the Templar Order. With the disappearance of the Oracle, Ferdinand stepped up to become the new ruler of Obia'Syela in particulary troubling times. With the unity of the Theocracy questioned, the worship of Obeah contested and immediate threat of the Heretic and Heathen, Ferdinand fought harder than ever before. At the peak of the war with Nova and Thalmarkin, Ferdinand was slain at the Battle of Glongin at the last soldier standing as he protected the retreat of his fellow nobles.
He is remembered as one of the great Heraldrim generals and rulers whom have martyred in the name of the cause.

Seeking spiritual solace in Beluaterra, Ferdinand came to the shores of Obia'Syela to seek his spiritual purpose in life with the Heralds of Obeah. Starting from humble beginnings, Ferdinand matured as both a man and spiritually. Rising up through the ranks in the armies of the Theocracy, he earned his positions as Marshal and then Grand Templar through dedication. During his military service, he participated in multiple climatic spiritual and political events such as the Violet Storm. After the assassination of Eva Foote, he was elected as Grand Master of Obia'Syela in particularly troubling times. Ferdinand died at the peak of the war between Obia'Syela and the Novan/Vale alliance at the battle of Glongin. A true martyr for his cause, Ferdinand will never be forgotten.
