Introduction

When we first heard about the exotic and new lands we were intrigued. People spoke of the peaceful lives that could be led there and the slow but tranquil way of life that ruled the very few people already there. Once the wars at home broke out, it was an easy choice. Our Families decided that they would travel to the new Colonies. We packed our belongings, gathered our gold and got onto the next ship to the Colonies.

The voyage lasted several weeks but we finally got off our rickety boats in the North East of the Continent. The land was blessed. The soil was wonderfully fertile and there was nothing but rolling slopes and beautiful scenery to be seen for miles around. Later that evening the Families got together in the Townhall and after some light hearted drinking and feasting between us, Giblot was born in the First Month of the Fourth Year of the Second Millenium...

With a slight frown on your face you see that the ink on the bottom half of the Introductory page had all but been worn away. Slightly put-out, you return to the contents and look at the Chapters of the Councils. They had been divided into a few parts, obviously to encompass the broader changes that happen, only with time...
