Sir Fezmin fled from a continent unknown to the rest of the world. His father, the general in the battle of Vixet had been slain by the enemy, but knowing that the battle was lost he could still make sure his son would escape the battle and the war. He (the father) was a legendary general, but the treachery of a duke and all the duke's vassals changed the flow of the battle too fast for him to grab it. The 24 men under Fezmin's command were the only survivors of that battle. These soldiers were hard-trained and very experienced, a battle was nothing for them. After three victorious battles with Taselak on the South-East Island, where several allies lost entire units, even archers, his casualties were non-existant. But some day they will die for their lord, and on that day Fezmin shall mourn, since he will be the last survivor of Vixet, the only one to remember the treachery of the duke. The actions of his father now account for nothing, but he will try to prove himself again and again of necessary, for he has nothing but his life to lose.

After several weeks of fighting Sir Fezmin took a merchant vessel to Beluaterra, and joined Mesh. There he first became a knight of Eykfar, then after the undead, monster and daimon invasion he swore fealty to Leani, Marchioness of Daelex. Once Leani was elected Chancellor of Mesh however, as Daelex's knight Fezmin was the only one with a legal claim over the region, and so he was appointed Marquis of Daelex.
