Problems in Pian? | February 29, 2008
News has recently reached us that there are some severe problems amongst the nobles in Pian en Luries. There has even been talk of a possible rebellion amongst the nobility. While the triggering event seems to have been a planned attempt by several nobles to found a new colony in Port Raviel, the root cause seems to be the dispute about command hierarchy in the kingdom. During the squabbling for power, King Kaennji Shenron questioned whether Royal Arbitrator Anna Vasata even had noble blood, as he was of the opinion that only a peasant could hold the views she had espoused. The Royal Arbitrator responded to this insult by challenging Kin Shenron to a duel to the death, which the King refused. Such an act of cowardice by the King sparked an extensive series of protests among the nobility of Pian en Luries. Will this internal conflict lead to a rebellion against the king, as we saw in Springdale? Or will the discontented nobles leave the realm with those headed to Port Raviel to create a new realm?

Expansion Proceeding Well | February 14, 2008
As the days go by, all four of the organized realms of Dwilight are expanding rapidly. While Madina is the only realm to have captured a city, Fissoa, Springdale has captured to stronghold of Nifelhold. Morek has captured six rural regions and a townsland, bringing their total regions to ten, making them the largest realm, both by region count and a tally of population. New nobles continue to arrive on Dwilight on a daily basis. The rate of growth will no doubt slow eventually, but that day seems far off in the future.
