Diremy Family/Lienar

Lienar of Alebad, son of Tomar Diremy, lives in Libidizedd in the realm of Astrum, Dwilight. He belongs to the Diremy Family.

Lienar was born in Alebed into the Diremy family. The Diremy were once landed gentry in the East Continent, but a certain wanderlust in the Diremy nature lead Tomar Diremy to Alebad, where Lienar was born. In a single generation the Diremy went from having acres of land and a small mansion - three wings only, with only a few dozen servants - to being immigrants, living in what might practically be called a cottage - only six servants, imagine! - in one of the poorer outskirts of Alebed. Tomar Diremy tried trading, but the conflicts erupting across the Colonies soon put an end to that plan.

Lienar was married at the age of seventeen to Lana Satrien, the daughter of another immigrant, noble family down on their luck. The very next year, discord erupted through the household. Lienar has never told anyone what he and his elder brother, Suran, fought about, but the very next morning Lienar and his young bride left the house, never to return. Seven months later, a month premature, little Sandrian was born. He was to be Lienar's only son.

Lienar now lives in a two-story high stone manor overlooking the sea on the Long Boulevard, an hour's ride to town. A moderately successful trader, he is growing into cankerous middle age, incapable of keeping up with the young traders of Libidizedd, a town he hates as much as he misses his own hometown of Alebad. He has never travelled home or contacted Suran in any way, and his eventual, bile-filled death in a foreign land seems inevitable.
