Cwellndell is a peaceful province, full of small farmer and crafter towns, which formed because of the ford that crosses the Great Illien River, the only ford between the source of the river and its mouth. Always rich because of the caravans crossing the river, the region was loyal to Plergoth for many years.

During the daimon invasion of 1007 - 1008, Cwellndell's crossroads position made it a frequent target of battling. It became a destitute and rogue region for many months. In early June of 1008 Mesh acquired Cwellndell after two days of caring attention.
