Church Militant of the Trinity/Foundations
The Church Militant is a young and dynamic faith, built from the ruins of the Church of the Trinity.
Commandaries (Temples)
Purpose
The Temples of the Church (known as Commandaries amongst the faithful) act as a focal point for the physical defence of their congregation. Each commandary is guarded by warrior monks who have taken the Templar vow, and Templars errant use them as temporary bases of operation.
Construction
The Templars build in a robust gothic style, surrounding their Commandaries with defensible curtain walls which protect the cloisters and courtyards of their monastic communities. Each Commandary has at its heart a Temple decorated with stained glass windows depicting the acts of the Saints, an ornate pulpit for preaching and a tall bell-tower for calling the faithful to prayer. The Chapel is always accompanied by a hospital to tend the sick and a graveyard where the Saints are laid to rest.
Smaller Commandaries feature a single barracks which houses the Monks Templar whilst larger foundations have several barracks and number lay brethren amongst their number who tend the adjoining estates.

Parishes (Shrines)
Purpose
Where the Commandaries seek to strengthen the faith by supporting its martial virtues, the Parishes tend to the more mundane needs of the congregation with the Parish priest sanctifying births, marriages, deaths and other important facets of daily life.
Construction
Each Parish is centred on a small, intimate Chapel built in the rustic style familiar to its local congregation. The focal point of the Chapel is the pulpit, where sermons are delivered along with readings from the Acts of the Saints and other sacred writings.
