Dru Windwalker crept through the plains of Djembe checking the spoor of the foul beasts that we gathering.
He had hunted down several other warbands on this hunt and was starting to feel the wear on his body. As Dru raised himself up over the small hillock, he found a several warbands of monsters holded up in the next valley. Dru drew Naspar, his razor sharp sword and then withdrew several throwing knifes from the baldric slung over his shoulder. Several more knives were attached within easy reach. Dru crawled down the slope and was just meters away from slitting the throat of the first monster where it reared up growling. Dru threw the first knife directly into the eye of the monster. Slaying the first monster, Dru spun on his heel and started throwing knives towards the oncoming rush of monsters.
After expending his 6 throwing knives, and Naspar in his fist, Dru set about lashing into the monsters. The final monster, the toughest and roughest monster he had yet to encounter shuffled forward. Dru reached behind his back to throw his last remaining knife only to discover it wasn't there. Grabbing a fistful of dirt, Dru threw it at the Alpha male before lashing into it with Naspar.
Dru and the Monster traded blows back and forth until Dru finally sliced into it's neck with a beautifully executed riposte that managed to slice into it's jugular. With it's life blood spilling onto the ground the monster reared up for one last strike but only ended up with a foot and a half of razor sharp metal piecing it's heart.
Dru exhausted but satisfied that the monsters of this warband were no longer a threat, Dru searched the area and found a set of Gauntlets. These Gauntlets made of Beasthide were just the thing to protect the hands of a warrior born.
