History

Childhood

The Eldest Child of Daman and Amber Akawara. As a child he used to kill small birds and rodents for fun. As he got older he started cutting them up and even moved on to larger animals. Eventually his parents got him to stop killing animals but he switched to torturing them instead. When he turned 16 he told his parent he was going to join the army and they were frightened not for his sake so much as for the sake of his troops and his opponents.

Knighthood

After spendind a year in training at the academy he graduated and was given a small unit to command. He returned home quickly and soon received orders to defend Nida but it fell before he had arrived and he was caught in a minor battle in alatol which cost him 2 men and he mutilated the bodies of two enemy infantry to make himself feel better before continueing on. He fought in another battle a day later against only one enemy troop and suffered two losses then as well. The very next day he found himself in the middle of a very large battle against overwhelming numbers of enemy troops and they destroyed the entire rest of his troop leaving him wounded for 12 hours.

First Real Loss

During those 12 hours he was forced to think, oh how he hated to think, he eventually thought back to those first two battles and how he had mutilated the bodies of four men over the deaths of four of his men and he wondered what would happen if his men had been mutilated like that in retribution for the losses of enemy troops. He didn't like that idea and realized that must be how the leaders of those men he mutilated must have felt and decided his parents may have been right about the existance of excessive violence and decided he ought to calm down a bit or his men would never respect him and he would never get anywhere in the realm.

Life After Loss

After he was released from the hospital he was told he could not return to active duty for another 12 hours because he might become ill again if he tried. He was then forced to watch as his men were hunted down and killed and he then headed to the capital with only one man left living to recruit more men and his own man deserted him and stole all his money but he luckily got more money from his family that very next day before he arrived and managed to hire a small troop of 15 MI and found his way into another battle in Esaglons and was captured.

Capture

He fully expected to spend weeks or months in a small dark cell only being let out to be tortured then thrown back in with rotten bread and dirty water but he was there for no more than 4 hours after which he was released back to the capital with no torture or mistreatment which surprised him to no end. He soon learned that his realm and the enemy have a treaty to release prisoners without torture or mistreatment and without reimbursment which struck Akkiko as odd as well. He decided maybe he too should show such compassion after battles maybe then he wouldn't be feared but respected and honoured.

Active Again

8 Hours after his release from prison he was returned to active duty but his troop had been in such a state of disrepair and fatigue that they had to be disbanded but he was lucky because only minutes later he was issued a tax bond for 86 gold which he immediately cash in order to purchase more troops and this time he decided to buy troops with less training and lesser equipment and decided he would train them himself and also chose to return to the tried and true Infantry units he had begun with naming them Red Demons in honor of his Father the Red Demon of Alcatil. His then 25 large troop of men began their march to Alatol to Assist with the its recapture.

Blue Lantern

He Stopped at the Guildhouse for The Order of Ered Luin and after looking over their beliefs and honors he felt their cause and his own overlapped greatly and also fell into his new ideals of honor and loyalty. He decided to request membership with their order and found himself accepted as a Blue Lantern which he learned meant he was not a official member but was known to desire membership and as such would have certain privledges as well as responsibilities. He accepted these responsibilities and after sending a message via rider to the leader of the Order he continued on his journey to Alatol to aid his Realm.
