I use Cinema 4D for my models, and I haven't been able to properly UV map the textures to make them look as good as they are within C4D, but perhaps you'd have better luck. If you want, I can give you the mapping parameters that I have for each texture within C4D. --AlexN 21:48, 11 January 2009 (CET)

:Additionally, I have noticed that animations are not exported when I export to the FBX or 3DS formats, and I am not sure if there is any way to export animations. I suppose that one workaround to this problem would be for you to find a specific frame that you want me to export for each animation (I assume that the final product will be a still image and not an animation.) Cinema 4D does not appear to be very export-friendly, but another idea is that, once you obtain all of the models you need for a scene, you could give me directions on how to put it together into a final product within Cinema 4D. Nevertheless, I am still attempting to UV map the textures (no success, yet :( ). --AlexN 19:37, 12 January 2009 (CET)

Yeah, I know, but I like to keep links done properly and avoid unnecessary redirects. However, I soon realized how long it would take to move regions if I worried about it now. And the fact that you probably have Continent/Region with many aspects of BM(such as economy ratings) and that people will need time to adjust. I'll worry about redirects in a few months when everything is figured out with semantics and organization. --Vita Family 10:46, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Unless the FlaggedRevs extension had a bit regarding this that I missed in my quick scan, I think we should have an article with guidelines on what qualifies under each rating. If we don't I suspect different editors will draw the line at different places. In addition, did this affect the other edit patrolling feature? Indirik nor I can patrol articles anymore so the red ! sticks around when we've already checked them and find them adequate or otherwise fixed. --Vita Family 12:45, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

I've noticed BattleMaster, and the wiki have both been very slow in loading recently, especially in the mornings and late evenings. All the other websites I go on load fine so it isn't my internet or computer. Im also not the only one finding this. Is there a reason it is really slow and can it be sorted? --X-Anne-X 07:27, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

:I'm guessing the server that BM runs on and the server that The Dream files are downloaded from run off the same connection. A lot of people downloading at once means a larger share of the bandwidth is used up downloading the file from the servers to peoples machines, and less is available for those playing BM (as the number of players online tends to peak right after turn changes). Once the file has disseminated a bit more it'll ease up I bet. Just my guess, based one how hard it was to simply log in to BM on The Dream's launch day. Tom, if you're interested in getting an outside host for the next mini-expansion (if there is one), or maybe if just a mirror download for the out now, let me know. I have my own website hosted in the US and wouldn't mind donating some bandwidth. It'd be nice to support BM with more than just donations. --Kag 11:08, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

I might be able to offer some help regarding 2-d art. I've had a couple years of art schooling. My abilities are far below that of a dedicated art major, but hey. I'm not skilled with Photoshop or any other program so I can't help with things that require computer expertise, but I can use the brush tool and I've got a tablet. As such, the sort of work I'd be able to do will probably be limited to relatively small things, but for example, the illustrations within the books in the dream are well within my capabilities--Anabellium 06:58, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
