Ranks

Here is a list of all the Ranks of the Church of Sartan. The Aspirant Ranks are used for Commoners and new Nobles. The Full Member Ranks are used for most Nobles. The highest Full Member Ranks are reserved for Priests. Promotions are earned through showing dedication towards the Church. The Elder Ranks are reserved for the Leaders of the Church, Missionaries, Advisers and highly regarded Priests.

The Elder Ranks

The Prophet' - The founder and religious primary of the Church of Sartan- Unelected, but rather appointed through conception of the ecclesiastical church. This position can only change hands in the time of death.
High Priest - Leaders of the Church of Sartan, especially since the Church currently has no Prophet. They handle all affairs, though mostly with the agreement of the other Elder Members.
Keeper of the Flame - You could say that those heroes have descended straight from Sartan, demigods who possess the Flame, that what made Sartan such outstanding Hero.
Missionary - Missionaries are those that bring our faith to other Realms. They are the representatives of the Church of Sartan.
Messenger of the Word - Highly regarded Priests. They are allowed to enlarge Temples according to the guidelines set by the Church.
Sartan's Minister - Members of the Church that are highly regarded and have a say in important matters like Promotions.
Pontifex of [Realm] - Rulers of the Far East who are followers of Sartan. They are the religious leaders within the borders of their realm over all the full members and aspirants of their realm. They represent their realm to Sartan and the other Elders of the Church.

Full Member Ranks

Guardian of the Church - Our most skilled sword fighter who defends the honour of the Church through challenging all those who despise it. Only one member can hold the rank of Guardian and the position can only be earned through defeating the current holder in a duel (till surrender).
Hero of the Path - Heroes who have proven themselves, worthy of Sartan's grace.
Patron of the Mission - Priests that have shown their worth. They are allowed to build Shrines according to the guidelines set by the Church.
Peritus of Sartan - Well respected and intelligent nobles who have shown great dedicated towards the Church and who's voice will be taken into account.
Sartan's Warrior - Highly regarded members of the Church. They have shown great dedication towards the Church.
Sartan's Apprentice - Young Heroes, those who walk the same path as Sartan did.
Prior of the Path - New Priests are first rewarded with this Rank. Further dedication to the Church will allow Promotions.
Knight of Sartan - Devotees who have shown further dedication to the Church of Sartan.
Devotee - Aspirants who have shown that they are devoted enough to be called full members.

Aspirant Ranks

Deacon - Promising aspirants that have shown dedication towards the Church.
Follower - New Members that have said they will follow our Church. They are mostly quickly promoted towards Full Member.
Newcomer - Everyone who joins gets the Rank of Newcomer. All they have to do is to give a testimony that they are willing to follow our Church.
