No State Religion box? :( Or Official religion, to make it more general, most realms have an official religion. -Chénier 03:18, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, there is a state religion parameter. Take a look at Keplerstan. Since I am still actively working on the template, I have not updated the parameter descriptions. I have added new ones, and removed some of the listed ones. --Indirik 04:09, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Would it be possible to put in a way to change the background color? Sometimes the realm color does not make a good background. --Athins 21:45, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

parser conditionals

All parameter names must be listed on your page. If you do not wish a particular piece of information to appear, then leave that parameter blank and it will not be shown at all. i.e.:

That can easily be fixed using parser conditionals - see the unique items or my region infobox template for examples on how to build that. --Tom 16:38, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

I started looking at your regional template yesterday to see how you handled the conditionals. I think the biggest problems I had was with pipes in the templates. I didn't really understand all the references I on wikipedia and others about pipes messing up templates. The new Template:! will, I think help me out a lot with blank lines showing up when I left a section out. --Indirik 18:28, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

categories

Please don't use Category:Island anymore. We should replace that with the "located on" property, don't you think? The one thing that categories are better is that they automatically put a link on the page bottom. --Tom 18:17, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Are the Island categories being removed? If not, then it could be confusing the have two separate places to go to find things about, for example, Atamara: a Category and a Properties search. Also, how will people be able to easily browse based on a property? We would have to assemble pre-made lists for them to make it easy. And then we have to have a "list of lists", and make them convenient and easy to get to. Perhaps a sidebar entry for "Lists"? Categories are just so easy to get to with the link at the bottom of the page. If it is being removed, then I think we should replace it with something else just as easy. --Indirik 17:34, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
No, I am replacing them with sub-categories. I've already updated my infobox template, so look at any region for examples. And yes, we might want to add/modify the navigation a bit. --Tom 17:57, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Realm Map and Names

Realms with spaces in their name like Akadian League, Old Rancagua, Tuchanon V, Cagilan Empire, Kingdom of Alluran etc. won't be able to use this. The map uses %20 for the map url and that causes the title to show up with that for the spacing. I also got a bunch every region in the game to show up in regions when I tried it along with some other errors. --Vita Family 07:27, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Banker Name

For some reason the template is outputting the General's name as the banker. Yet it still considers the "Has banker" as the right name. So it just has to be an issue with the output. For an example look at Corsanctum. It says the banker is Argon Le Mont, (who is the general). But the Has banker is right saying it is "Has banker Goren II " --Athins 21:20, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

For some reason it is doing something similar with the new one I implimented in Fontan. It says the general is Jon Snow, when it should be Jon Paul Ogren. It has his name right for the region he is lord of though. --Athins 21:37, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
I'll have to take a look at it tomorrow. I bet the problem is with Template:FamilyLink or the call to the template. I don't think it will be too hard to fix. --Indirik 01:31, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
OK, it's worse than I thought. Fontan's general's name is not "Jon Paul". It's "Jon Paul Ogren". The space in the character name is throwing off the template. It's seeing the space in the character's first name (Jon Paul) and thinks the character's first name is just "Jon". So it goes to the external data feed and asks for the family name of the character "Jon", which is "Jon Snow". I don't think I can fix this. I may just have to disable to the auto-link detection for council members. Tom did mention that he might try to see if he can export the family name as well as the first name as part of the realm data feed. We'll see if he's able to do it. --Indirik 03:23, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Capital

If the realm name and capital is the same then the capital is display as unknown. can something do to correct that?
