Ehm, hello guys, this isn't called BATTLEmaster for nothing. This is a battling game, please, don't start with pets! How rediculous would that be, one fighting a war and then suddenly saying to his adversary "Hold on a second" and to a dog sitting behind him "Go home, fluffy, I told you to stay inside, go play with the cat" and back to his adversary "Okay, where were we? Oh yes I was killing you". I mean, that's just rediculous, and that has nothing to do with medieval battling. And if you were fighting on a horse, donkey or camel (something like that) against someone on foot yes I would say you would have a huge advantage, and last time I check the Egyptians had pets, which way before the medieval times so yes again it would make sense for medieval times.
