I have an EI map from December 2004. It is just strategic and has no nation markers however.

I am a represenative from the OCPAU, and i would like to formerly invite you to become a member of the OCPAU newspaper franchise representing Perdan. Do you accept?--Twinblade 29 March 2006 01:38 (CEST)

You invite him, but I get signed up by default? --Kag 29 March 2006 04:39 (CEST)

Well... :D Yeah, you were kinda drafted in, as was Ubent, though it seems Ubent still doesnt have a paper. Vellos 29 March 2006 04:56 (CEST)

I would be honored to join the OCPAU. -- Indirik 29 March 2006

Oh, and by the way, did you know that El Cid claims to be the secret, illegitimate love child of Doc Primus, long-time ruler of Sirion and Gwynyth Kazan, current Queen of Caligus? I wonder if Doc Primus and Queen Gwynyth know about that? Seeing as how Doc Primus is 52, Gwynyth Kazan is 37, and El Cid is 34, I suppose, if it's true, that this would make Doc Primus a child molester, since Gwynyth would have been 3 years old at the time she gave birth to El Cid! Does Doc Primus know that El Cid claims Doc Primus is a pedophiliac? Does Queen Gwynyth know that she gave birth when she was 3 years old? I would hope this is just another lie by El Cid.

That's physical age, not actual age. I give you props for trying though. - One

Well, thats in really bad taste as it is. But One is right. The character age you refer to is essentially a game mechanic. Age can be RPed around that. Character age is defined by wounds and battle and all the rest. It's not an actual representation of your char's true age. - Revan
RP around the fact that the game flat out states that your mother was 3 years old when you were born? That's just plain ridiculous. I still wonder how Queen Gwynyth appreciates the fact that someone is claiming she bore an illegitimate son by Doc Primus. Not to mention that Doc Primus may not appreciate it. (Having a non-elf bear his illegitimate child?! The horror!) This RP is just a poor attempt by El Cid to cast his enemies in a bad light, verging on slander. If I get verifiable confirmation from both Queen Gwynyth and Doc Primus that they both agree to this RP, then I will remove the story. Not that I expect that to happen any time soon. Using other people's characters in such a manner for RP may even be a violation of game rules. I suggest both of you check the Roleplaying Guidelines. Indirik 12 April 2006 19:43 (CEST)
I'm not here to debate the legality of these characters use. Just to say that you are looking far too deeply into game mechanics for a revolting piece of 'news.' Character Ages are not real ages. It's only affected by wounds, battles, class etc. If you sit in a City and never fight for a year, your char will barely age at all. If youre always getting into battles, you'll age dramatically in comparison. I mean it could be that Gwynyth and DP made their chars on the same day, and the age difference exists because Doc has always been involved in battles and Gwynyth has always been a bureaucrat or something. The point is character age is hardly a sound basis for your story. As One said. It is a physical age, not an actual age.. - Revan
Then why is it that, when you create a character, you select either "Young" "Average(or something like that) or "Elderly" (or is it Old? or aged?). Age is affected by wounds and such, but I tend to think it IS your characters actual age. Seeing as nobody knows exactly how BM time works(A harvest every week, a season every mont or so, time rolls over to some extent, etc), why not have it be actual age? Perhaps its just counting the time quicker for one of them, as shown by their age. Vellos 12 April 2006 23:21 (CEST)

There are clear question marks besides the names of both those characters, showing that is it pure speculation, not a solid fact. If they want there charaters names removed, I'll remove them, I don't have a probelm with that. Also I made that up about 6 months ago, and it has nothing to do with the Kalamar Island rebellion at all. It sad to see you guys starting to attack me OOC (though I'm not suprised). One 12 April 2006 20:16 (CEST)

So you admit that you used their characters in a derogatory way in your personal roleplay without their permission? Does that mean you think it's OK to do defamatory things with other people's characters as long as we just say its "speculation"?
It doesn't matter when the RP was created. Wrong is wrong. You performed actions that invited scrutiny of yourself, your story, and all of your previous history. You, in effect, made yourself a celebrity by orchestrating a rebellion in a small and weak colony that just happened to be jointly created by two of the largest realms on the East Island, and at peace with everyone. What did you expect to happen? That everyone would just look the other way while you looted it to the ground to pad your own pockets? You care nothing for the Kalmar Islands, the people you hurt during your little stunt, or the destruction you cause where ever you go. You wanted the attention. You rubbed people's noses in what you did just so you could get the spotllight on yourself. Well, it worked. You got. So what's the problem? Is the limelight a little too hot now that it's focused squarely on your head? --Indirik 12 April 2006 20:44 (CEST)

If your that boiled up about it e-mail the titans or tom. One 12 April 2006 21:03 (CEST)

I bet you'd just love that, wouldn't you? Seeing as how I'm not one of the injured parties, I'm not going to report anything. Gwynyth Kazan and Doc Primus can file complaints on their own, if that is their choice.--Indirik 12 April 2006 21:11 (CEST)

Kalmar Election

Well with a choice El Cid vs Lalakis which would you choose? meh, I still wish BBB ran. --Alex 23:30, 23 May 2006 (CEST)(Legatus DeSyrr)

I feel your pain. This is one case where you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't. I might have just spent all my votes on someone else. Honestly, with all the ex-Avamar people you have in the islands, and the fact that the supposedly disowned El Cid himself is still there and apparently in the running for a position of power, the KI will never shake off their reputation as Avamar Jr. At least three of the largest realms on the island are just waiting for the chance to clean out the Islands at their first opportunity. You guys really need to do some house-cleaning, kick off all the former Avamarrian trappings, and really distinguish yourself somehow as a separate entity. It will be an uphill battle, as the realm was founded in a violent uprising by foreign immigrants that ousted the original government, intending to turn it into a new Avamar. I honestly don't see how it can happen. --Indirik 23:56, 23 May 2006 (CEST)
To be honest, the new Kalmar Islands is doing quite well, better than the old. It is jsut the pitiful foreign relations we have now. Thats what comes with all the Avamarians. We recently voted to try to make peace with OR, Perdan, Ibladesh, Itorunt, and LoF.
It doesnt matter to me, I like the new democracy I do nto like how it was created. I am hoping we can get the estimable Sir Prometheus and the old Kalmarians back, but keep the democracy. It really is an enjoyable government system.
