It is only common among immature people. The word 'fag' is to homosexuals as 'nigger' is to African-Americans, or 'cunt' is to any female. Queer is not much better. They represent the ongoing social oppression against those groups that has lead to untold brutality and murder. I don't have the slightest idea why this page needs to exist, as it just depresses me that BM would allow it when we all agreed to be civil when we joined the game. This is not civil. Actually, Queerfag is a relatively common IG term. Radical Yggdrasili/anti-Qyrvaggian people in Riombara, pre-secession, called us Queerfags, and, over time, we shortened their name to just "Ickies" or "Iggies". I'm not sure if this should necessarily be used as a redirect, but it actually isn't just a poor prank. It's a serious RP. Vellos 00:46, 5 October 2007 (CEST)

If it's a "serious RP", then write RP about it and post it to your own page as an RP. Making a simple redirect from what appears to be a very derogatory and inflammatory term to another page just because you "...can never find their religion page..." is childish and immature. (What's so hard about putting a link to the real page on your own user page?) Just like when Paris made all the gay porn pages about the various rulers on the EC having sexual relations with each other and various commoners. He considered that "serious RP" as well. I dont want to get into an argument here but it is not exactly what you say. The word fag does indeed mean homosexual, but it is also a slang word for a ciggarette, which im sure does not imply homosexuallity. It is only derogatory because you want it to be derogatory. That is the problem with the world these days it always has to PC, people jump on the band wagon about PC and really does get on my nerves.

If you were to place the word Qyrvagg into a dictionary, then wrote how to pronounce it, im sure that it would have the word Queerfag next to it. My two peneth worth ScottSabin 12:21, 5 October 2007 (CEST)

I had a character in the realm where this term was coined and it was meant in a derogatory way from a player who has been warned by the titans for such language in the past. I was saddened to see such a tasteless joke then and I'm disgusted to see it repeated here. Malitia said it right and I look forward to this page being removed. -Balewind
