Suville (Realm)
The Kingdom of Suville is one of the youngest realms of Atamara. It is geographically located at the southernmost tip of the continent, covering the southern and eastern coastlines of the Abington peninsula.
(Disclaimer: Suville is NOT currently a realm. It is a duchy of Abington. All the information on this page is based on the assumption's of User:Cheever. The assumptions are not unfounded; however, it is highly unlikely that every assumption is correct, especially the parts about Narville and Webgard.)
History
The Kingdom of Suville does not have a history because it has not been founded yet. However, Duchess Callisto intends to secede the duchy of Suville from Abington, and rumor has it that Duke Martok intends to switch the allegiance of the duchy of Narville to the newly created realm of Suville. It is also rumored that a few more regions may also follow, Webgard in particular, but no confirmation has been made public.
Government
The government of Suville is a standard Monarchy. In addition to the Queen, High Marshal, Arch-Priestess, Treasurer, Dukes/Duchesses, Marshals and Barons/Baronesses, Suville also has a number of advisory councils. Membership to the council is by appointment of the ruler only, and is generally limited to landed nobles, council members and other influential members of the community.
Royal Court
The Royal Court consists of the council members, dukes, and other nobles of the ruler's choice. It's purpose is to provide advice to the ruler on matters of state, both foreign and domestic. It is purely an advisory body and does not possess any legislative, judicial or executive powers.
Military Council
The Military Council consists of the ruler, general, judge, dukes, and marshals. It's purpose is to provide advice to the general on the military affairs of the realm, including strategy and tactics. It is purely an advisory body and does not possess any legislative, judicial or executive powers.
Culture
Due to its small size, Suville does not have much diversity. Nevertheless, both its nobles and citizen's support the ideals of liberty and toleration (within the boundaries of the hereditary caste system inherent to all monarchies). Current events can be observed in the Suville Weekly newspaper.

The laws of Suville are written by the Arch-Priestess and are subject to the veto of the Queen. Below is the current Writ of Law

Religion
The official religion of Suville is Aristoi Atamarism. Nobles are free to practice whatever religion they choose to believe in; however, only the priests of Aristoi Ataramism are permitted to operate within Suville's borders and only temples shrines dedicated to Aristoi Atamarism are allowed to stand.
