The Sirion forces took another day off in Al Amarah, collecting more tax gold from the Fontanese tax collectors. They were getting a little bored, so they decided to head home to their lush forests -- Al Amarah was a little too barren for their tastes.

On their way to Montijo Lord Seadak and his archers were delayed, and therefore the Sirion forces were divided as they encountered Fontan forces arriving from Tabost. Nonetheless, despite having a divided force, the Sirion forces were easily able to vanquish the Fontan foes.

Though victorious, soon after combat a despicable Fontanese infiltrator struck at Sir Atanamir, wounding him. His forces, the Elite Haradrim, of course decided to stay behind and wait till he recovered. The Sirion forces could not wait too long however. They were now surrounded by Fontan forces from all around. Sir Corwyn's scribe recorded the tense events of that day.

Ultimately, the Sirion forces stayed together and waited till Sir Atanamir recovered, preparing themselves for the worst. Yet the lazy Fontanese could never muster up the courage to fight them. The attack never came, and the following day the Sirion forces safely made it home, laden with huge bags of Fontanese tax gold.
