Issue Overview
May 11th - 17th Zanaras
As this is what may very well be the last issue of the Lurian Weekly, I have put quite a lot of work into making sure the Lurian Weekly goes out with a bang. And by "bang" I mean the best issue that I've done yet.

Colony in Sallowtown
May 14th Zanaras
Yes, another colony is to be founded by Lurian individuals, this one based out of Sallowtown. Unlike Shadovar, this colony plans to remain true to Lurian mentalities, although of course remain it's own Sovereign realm. Officially the colony groups consists of Sir Telamond Orgauth, Sir Darfix Warrah, Sir Aiden Mcloud, and myself Sir Zanaras Tian. As of this printing, the colony is to be a Monarchy under the name of Silverfall. Darfix is to be Ruler and Duke of Sallowtown, Telamond the Judge, and Zanaras General. The position of banker hasn't been worked out yet, due to bureaucratic misfiling.
New Editor-in-Chief Required!
March 14th Zanaras
With my departing for the future colony of Sallowtown, this leaves my position in the Lurian Weekly open. Because of this, I am seeking a new Editor-in-Chief of the Lurian Weekly. To qualify you must be a member of Pian en Luries (so you can stay up to date on the happenings). It'd also be good if you were a part of the Poryatown Press Publishing Guild, though you must join after becoming editor so you can manage any future staff that will be working under you.

As the Lurian Weekly is not only the flagship production of the Poryatown Press but also the first realm based paper of Dwilight, I really don't want it to go down.

(OoC: Familiarization with the wiki is preferred, but not required. I can post up all articles myself if need be, although this would slow the process down a bit. I've also tried to make the LW's templates as self-explanatory as possible so new editor's wouldn't have any trouble with them.)

Everguard Divided
May 17th Zanaras
The seeming strength of Everguard has faded as of late. Recent reports and rumors from the northern realm have it being split in two, it's capital and it's stronghold no longer connected by any territory of the realm, and lesser nobles having taken to flying their own banners in much of the former Everguard lands. Rumors say everything from Astrumese involvement to just simple rebellion on a grand scale. Perhaps the future will tell more.

To begin with I'd like to thank the various rulers of Dwilight that responded to the messages I sent them about different things from the reason behind their realms' foundations to what brought them into wars.

I'd also like to thank Edith Hashimashidas for writing a couple articles for the Lurian Weekly earlier on, and for giving me reason to continue with her slacking and eventual leaving of the realm.

Naturally, I'd like to thank Duchess Marie Euphrasia Le Fois DuPre of Askileon for helping me out with the Poryatown Press in the beginning by permitting the creation of the Poryatown Press Publishing Guild of Dwilight in her city. She also helped to make sure I actually kept working on the paper, taking note of when new issues were rare to find and telling me about wanting to read something about something. Lastly, I'd like to thank Kaennji Shenron for helping to secure my position in Pian en Luries and of course for creating the realm to begin with, Alanna Anaris for building up the realm into what it is today, and the numerous readers of the Lurian Weekly who make it all worthwhile and whom without this paper may not have lasted as long as it did.
