Civil Unrest in Pian | |
June 4th | Zanaras Tian |
It is said that every great nation goes through a period of civil unrest every now and then, and Pian is going through it's second at the time of this writing. The first? The near rebellion at the end of Keannji's reign. The second? The banishment of Marie Euphrasie le Fois DuPre, Duchess of Askileon and the following secession of Duke Kaennji of Poryatown. |
New Record on Shortest War? | |
June 5th | Zanaras Tian |
Possibly bound to be one of the most short lived wars in the history of Dwilight, the Lurian Civil War is drawing to a swift close after nearly the entire duchy of Poryatown that seceded returned but a day later. The speed of the return begs one to ask, just how much of Pian is being manipulated so that Lords would turn against a Duke that was not only a Duke but also a Royal himself? The same Duke they've had allegiance to since practically they themselves were appointed after their regions were taken from the wild! |
New Editor-in-Chief | |
June 6th | Zanaras Tian |
After this issue comes to a close I will be officially resigning as Editor-in-Chief of the Lurian Weekly, and as my replacement I have chosen newcomer to the realm, Macal Kandurell. Though new to Pian, he has offered the most interesting resume and I felt he would be the best choice to continue the paper. |
Silverfall Shadow | |
June 6th | Zanaras |
As I have found a new editor for the Lurian Weekly, I am proud to announce that I will begin work on the paper for the colony I plan to found across the desert, the Silverfall Shadow. It will be a weekly paper published at the same intervals of the Lurian Weekly. This however doesn't mean that I am done with the Lurian Weekly just yet, I plan to do work on atleast one more issue, alongside Macal. |
