Perleone was founded on the 10th of October 1013 out of the duchy of Al Arab by King Nigel De La Fere.
The new realm was a joint effort by Westmoor and Perdan.
History
Perleone was created after Perdan managed against all predictions to defeat the three realms that had banded together against it in the south: Caligus, Armonia and Eponllyn. While the terms handed out to Caligus and Armonia were relatively light a few regions here and there; Caligus was to leave the new Fallangard realm which ceded from Caligus alone (three regions including Isadril at that time), Eponllyn suffered heavily losing the entire duchy of Al Arab and the white city of Ibladesh all of which became the new realm of Perleone.
King Nigel first set about securing the position of the realm politically amongst the friends they had already this included Perdan and it's allies. Fallangard also was a quick ally of Perdan, an alliance which had secured it's existence. Westmoor and OI were also soon all allied to Perleone and each other making a very strong southern alliance or mid island alliance. Tensions between Eponllyn and Perleone were high from the beginning but increased with the internal meltdown of Armonia when Fallangard and Eponllyn attacked the realm from both sides. In a surprising move the duchy of Xavax joined Perleone along with Itorunt but for political reasons and mistrust the Itorunt duchy soon changed sides again to Eponllyn. This resulted eventually in the destruction of Armonia but also in creating a situation where Armonian nobles were now on both sides of two realms not at war. Norritor a Perleone region was left stranded inside Eponllyn lands.
War broke out between Perdan and Caligus over issues of trust (they thought Caligus was more friendly with Sirion and was plotting against them) and Fallangard and Perleone were relatively quick to join in on this war. During the conflict Eponllyn took Betholm a Perleone region that had gone rogue. Although the two realms were not at war this increased political pressure between the two realms. The issues of Betholm and Norritor haven't been resolved to date.
The Democratic State of Perleone
In the end of the year 1017, a rebellion was erected against King Deklan Fuor by Arks Reair, thus ending the reign of the king and the monarch itself. Perleone then was rebuilt by the new democratic government system. Conrad Barret was elected the first Lord President.
In early 1018, Niall de la Fere returned to Perleone to find it small but gritty after the democratic rebellion. He won the democratic election and started making changes to reinstate the monarchical system and Make Perleone Great Again. With him, a lot of new nobles joined. Perleone joined yet a few times the Southern Alliance in battles against the north, while trying to regain lost Perleonian lands that had evicted to Alara, under the protection of King Robb. During those negotiations, Alara declared war on Perleone, and eventually the Margrave of Ibladesh (Deklan Fuor, King of Perleone in exile) took the Perleonian lands to Vix Tiramora. Long negotiations included making Perleone into a Constitutional Monarchy, which was accepted and voted on regardless of the results concerning Ibladesh City.

War of Deklan's Folly
After two months of negotiations over Ibladesh, King Niall finally surmised he would never get the city back through diplomacy. War was declared on the Southern Federation. End of July, 1018, Perleone started a takeover of Zawr, since it no longer had feasible borders with Alara (only Ibladesh). The war begins, under the leadership of Protector Beyazit Kalkandelen.

- Federates move into Al Aquabah and Minas Nova starts a takeover. Peasant militia rallies but are immediately defeated and hide in the hills.

- After a few more battles in Al Aquabah (all of which Perleone lost, but were slowly chipping away at Federate strength), Duke Gaheris visits Oc Lu Pesh and presents documents and letters from Margrave Deklan which prove that he relinquished claim to Oc Lu Pesh. Duke Gaheris is recognized as the region's lord.
- Federates go home for a refit and Perleone does the same. Investments in Al Aquabah help restablish the region.
- As the Federates refit, Perleone starts a takeover in Zawr and completes it. Federates do not arrive from refit in time to stop it, so they decide to go loot Nimraw. They stay there for over a week, bringing the region to the brink of revolt. Perleone moves to Zamor to start a takeover there.

- Perleone retreats to Zawr, applies fortification defense (without fortifications). Alara pursues with a small delay. First Perleoni victory. - sunrise 18-8-18
Et tu, Bruce?
The Federates went for a refit, giving Perleone ample time to takeover Zamor. After the TO, Perleone retreats to refit at the same time as Prime Minister Mary Anne starts a rebellion! The perleonian princess claims her seal was stolen, but orders and letters are sent on her behalf, a referendum started and even communication with the Southern Alliance is established! King Niall orders her to move to Perdan while they investigate the theft, and the princess steps down as Marshal and leaves the realm, waiting for Duke Gaheris to find out who did it. On the way, she's attacked and is forced to run with nothing besides her three dogs.
- Federates take the opportunity to chase Perleoni army to Zawr.
- Federates kill stragglers in Zawr, then go back to Zamor where Minas Nova conducts a takeover. Meanwhile, King Robb takes over Oc Lu Pesh on his own.
- Prime Minister Mary Anne leaves to Perdan, and the rebellion ends. She gets banned.
- Perleone tries to break the TO in Zamor and loses - 29-8-18

The howling wolves was created by Margrave Cassandra Foxglove and was to be Perleone's main army. The armies first set of campaigns against Caligus and Sirion have been generally successful providing added strength to Fallangard and securing the defense of the town of Ar Mosul from the Sirion red dragons.
