The Murphy family from Bescanon in Perdan on the East Continent come from a long line of fighters. Their oldest children; Sheila and Seamus stayed in Perdan to fight for the armies there. The youngest, Stephan started his career in Caligus, but decided to move to Atamara and eventually became a priest of the Way of the Warrior Saints in Eston.
