In contrast to his brash and bold brother, Aurelius is a calm and considerate young man, not gifted in the ways of the sword, but given over to being a scholar and thinker. Overshadowed by his brother, he never learned much in terms of combat, instead choosing to spend his time in the family library and listening to his father's tales. Thanks to his silence, bookishness, and delicacy, many treat Aurelius as if he is an aloof princeling, someone looking down disdainfully on others.

As noted by the High Justice of Luria Nova, House Madigan retains a strong Summer Isles accent ((OOC: Welsh)) and must speak and write in their second tongue out in the world. " Reason and Strength"

The descendants of the Jazuma Family, by way of the middle son Halcyon, House Madigan remained reclusive and hidden until the brothers Aurelius and Hendrick petitioned for the right to adventure out into the world. The family relented and sent the two scions of the house out into the world. Shortly thereafter, young Lazarus Madigan fled home.

May a bright future await us here where the Lurian sun sets. May we ever serve as a paragon of moderation and reason, of peace and justice.

A fiery and restless youth, it was Hendrick who first attempted to leave House Madigan to see the world and convinced his brother to do likewise. Bold, passionate, and clever, Hendrick is more confidant in himself than he has a right be and is eager to prove himself to those around him. He arrived in the realm of Luria Nova where he was warmly welcomed by Torpius D'Arricarrère who converted him to the fold of Aetheris Pyrism, a faith that he now pledges his life to. In the faith, he is the author of collection of documents on Theosophy, dubbed The Madigan Research Journals. Possessing his father's knack for politics and law, Hendrick was appointed as the Earl of Thar Gortauth in the newly established Duchy of Shinnen.

Most recently, he participated in the formation of the realm of Luria Vesperi and has the honor of serving as its first High Magistrate and Ambassador.

Positions, past and present: High Magistrate of Luria Vesperi, Ambassador of Luria Vesperi, Earl of Thar Gortauth, Blaze Guide of Aetheris Pyrism.

Aurelius Madgian

Here I stand, Lord of Darkness and I will take not one step back. Here is where the North stands strong, where we will throw back your hordes. Come, beast, for the only way I will retreat is in death!" In contrast to his brash and bold brother, Aurelius is a calm and considerate young man, not gifted in the ways of the sword, but given over to being a scholar and thinker.

Aurelius eventually made his war to the realm of Thalmarkin, arriving around the same time as the Fifth Blight. He immediately gathered a redoubtable troop of men and cast aside his fears of war, joining the fight against the Overlord. He was part of the major offensive of Bisana and was the last noble on the battlefield during the defense of Unger against the Darkest Hour of the North.

During the invasion, the need for a dedicated expert on magical items and scrolls, and and organizers for the freemen of the realm prompted the creation of the position of Grand Wizard and the Order of the Cold Flame. To his great honor, the position was bestowed on Aurelius.

Thanks to his time in the Fifth Invasion, Aurelius managed to shed his cold exterior and his fear of martial confrontation and became a capable commander and exceptional archer.

Dayne The Bastard Bard

Also called, mostly by his own tongue, Dayne the Beautiful, Dayne the Dashing, and Dayne the Bold, the bastard of the Madigan family followed his less ambitious brother Aurelius to Thalmarkin, hoping to profit in the Fifth Invasion. Though adequate with a blade and exploring, Dayne is a skilled singer and lute player, gifted with flowery words and given to the simple pleasures in life.

Belruel Madigan

"There are those that call me mad. They have never had the misfortune to meet my sister" - Hendrick Madigan. "Belruel cares for naught but three things: Gold, women, and killing. And she is generally fondest of the latter" - Aurelius Madigan

Belruel Madigan, called the Pale Rose, is as deadly as she is beautiful. The most martially inclined of the Madigan children, she considers herself more of a man than her two bookish brothers. Standing at six feet high and capable of cleaving a man in twain, the Pale Rose is still a great beauty, gifted with fair Madigan hair and full lips. Her charms, though they entice men, are entirely saved for women - a fact which Belruel is never shy to boast about.
