Please consider using Template:Infobox RegionData instead, which automatically fetches the relevant and always-correct data from the game engine itself. Use this template for historical pages where the region data is no longer available (e.g. the sunk south islands).

To convert, use the "image" property - the first number is the world-id, the second the region-id.

The region of Itomazh, designated as a 'County', is the northernmost region in the Far East, and is sometimes called 'The Dark Crown'. There is some discussion between scholars but some believe this is actually what the name means in the old dialect of savage tribes who once inhabited the island. The County's motto, chosen by Countess Siobhan O'Ways at her inauguration in May of 8 A.T. is "Animis Opibusque Parati", which translates into "Prepared in minds and resources" or "Ready for anything". It has over three-hundred days of rain a year, and from november through march, it is under constant cloud cover and exposed to the heavy ocean storms which send in driving snow and ice-cold winds. Buildings are usually low and extremely sturdy, made of the abundant grey and black rocks and with roofs covered with moss and straw, lined with clay and animal hair for strength. Forestland is rare, making timber and wood for fuel the only things the Itomaziens need to trade off their neighbouring regions. Most of the County consists of grasslands, occasionally dotted with bushes and elder-trees, of which the flowers and berries are collected for local medicine. The tree is therefore respected, revered even. The coast is lined with pebble-beaches, sometimes hundreds of yards wide. The County has three natural harbours where the fishermen pull their boats ashore. There is only one landing spot for heavier ships, at Falnis, a few miles north of the County's main settlement, Norwin, where 'Itomazh Keep' makes for the only permanent defended position built on three-hundred square yards of elevated black rock, with military quarters underground. There has never been need for the County to be equipped with additional defences.

As far back as anyone in Arcachon can remember, Itomazh has never seen war. Nevertheless, there are two recruitment centres, one for the "Itomazh High Guard", medium Infantry equipped with axes and small round shields, and one for the "Itomazh Ballistic Elites", Special Forces with improved heavy longbows which out-range any ballistic unit in the continent. The local population mostly consists of fishermen and farmers, who tend to region-specific breeds of longhaired cattle and sheep. This makes for a mainly self-sufficient society, and trade between Itomazh and the rest of the island or the continent at large is limited to the export of clothing and salted hareng. The people are the silent but hard-working kind and very distrustful of strangers or travelers. They organise in small settlements of typically three to seven round stone huts of anywhere between twelve and thirty feet in diameter. They are organised in strict cooperative groups where everyone has to fulfill their responsabilities lest they be cast out. Needless to say, those who are on their own in an unforgiving part of the world like Itomazh do not last long...
