Region Summary
Ippetimbal is a mountainous region in the heart of Beluaterra with at least a third of its land area blocked by impassable mountains. Much of the remaining land is dominated by rolling hills, steep cliffs and sharp valleys. Running through the core of Ippetimbal is a lone stream that originates from a mountain cave. The beginning of the stream provides water for the moat of Ippetimbal Castle, mostly a ruin after decades of siege and neglect. Further downstream is the main settlements of Twin Towns, one of which is the main crossroad for the region. The south consists of a Fertile Basin that supports the population of Ippetimbal. The Eastern Highlands rise above the stream valley where a alightly different culture took root. Last to the north is a Narrow Passage with a lone road past the looming mountains.

A ruined Ippetimbal is subjected by the Empire of Vordul Sanguinis, and granted to Baroness Sol Tempest by Emperor Xlair Silverblade.
Region Map
Early History
The region of Ippetimbal was a member of the Former Duchy Of Wudenkin. A mountain region north of Dyomoque, the capital of their ally Khthon and south of the third biggest city on the island; Avalon's Wudenkin. Another neighbor is Vale (Fronen).
History books in Ippetimbal's Library show that former Chancellor Grim-Reaper appointed former General Victor as Baron of the region. After a time of loyal service, Victor left in the search of other adventures. Successor Chancellor Allarion appointed Otto Burgundy, Knight of Wilwau as Baron Of Ippetimbal and Knight of the Duchy Of Wudenkin.
Since Baron Otto was a member of the Guild called Guardians Of The Magical Herbs, he constructed a guild hall in this region for said guild, and as one of the only two mountain regions in Avalon to have a guild hall for Guardians Of The Magical Herbs.
