The Impenetrable Coat is not much to look at when taken at its face; A dull and battered duster of thick leather. But upon closer inspection one can find ancient symbols worked in the leather across the back and down the sleeves.

The Coat was taken from the Undead Champion Murik, when Garik Volker slew him in the sewers of Skalk, returning his foul bones to hell. Nobody has yet been able to determine how Murik came to possess it but the young adventurer Garik discovered its powers quickly. Every thrust of Garik's spear seemed to glance and slide off the coat, leaving Murik unharmed, as if it had been polished steel instead of seemingly old leather. It wasn't until Garik managed to take the champion's feet out and crush it's skull with the butt of his spear that he was able to claim victory and relieve the fallen beast of his prize.
