Giask

The realm of Giask was formed from the dissidents in Pian en Luries. During the reign of Queen Alanna, many knights and lords began to grow discontent with the Queen's style of ruling. This discontent was heightened to bursting points when the Queen syphoned away most of Giask's gold and put it into her own pockets, between the Queen and her new banker, 4000 gold coins were taken. This act sparked rage amongst the people of Giask and many knights began gathering in the capital in an attempt at open rebellion. Knowing this, Queen Alanna quickly forced the duchy of Giask to secede and thus saving her rulership. With the new realm formed with the former duke and now king, sir Loathin Fantom, Giask aims to take back the lands of Pian en Luries and unite the realm under a banner of truth and prosperity.

Governmental Structure

Giask is ruled by a free monarchy, this is a system that has the King as a permanent ruler and all the other government systems being elected each month. This system was chosen in response to the incredible amount of power strangling that went on through the rank of Pian en Luries. Other benefits include that each government member remains fully attentive to their duty, while as a monarch, the King still has the final, which concludes to a stable and straightforwad system.
