Unwilling to serve as a common armsman, Lucius took up a life of adventure in order to prove to everyone his worth. Having limited success at first, he eventually perfected his trade and became a very successful hunter of all things scary. His first contact with Sirion's nobility was with Count Maharbal of Carthage, lord of [[Blaastambar]]. Having been given a standing offer, when Lucius eventually discovered the [[Thrice-Blessed Gauntlets of Strength]] in a Lich lair, he was able to sell it to Count Maharbal for a small fortune.

Sometime thereafter, he was contacted by the Banker of [[Sirion (realm)|Sirion]], Alain Revan, and offered a commission to repair another item, the [[White Girdle of Glinmar]]. After consulting many sages, Lucius was successful, and received a very generous reward. Soon after Lucius discovered a second artifact, which he sold to a Duke for a pittance and the last shred of recognition he needed to become a full fledged noble of Sirion.

Lucius looks the part of a man who became one the hard way. He has numerous scars from his life as an adventurer, including one across his face ending at his left eye socket, which is now covered with a patch. Despite this handicap, Lucius is a terrifyingly talented swordsman. Shortly after being recognized as a noble, he attended a swordfighting tournament in Westmoor where he placed fourth in a competition of over 100 nobles, losing only to the eventual winner. He now commands the Black Watch, a unit of crafty woodsmen he is well suited to lead.
