Career as an Adventurer

The middle brother, Lucius chose to leave Atamara at a young age and seek his fortune on the Eastern Island. Arriving first in Sirion, he attempted to become a soldier, but his nobility went unrecognized. As a result, he could not even become an officer. Unwilling to serve as a common armsman, Lucius took up a life of adventure in order to prove to everyone his worth. Having limited success at first, he eventually perfected his trade and became a very successful hunter of all things scary. His first contact with Sirion's nobility was with Count Maharbal of Carthage, lord of Blaastambar. Having been given a standing offer, when Lucius eventually discovered the Thrice-Blessed Gauntlets of Strength in a Lich lair, he was able to sell it to Count Maharbal for a small fortune.

Sometime thereafter, he was contacted by the Banker of Sirion, Alain Revan, and offered a commission to repair another item, the White Girdle of Glinmar. After consulting many sages, Lucius was successful, and received a very generous reward. Soon after Lucius discovered a second artifact, which he sold to a Duke for a pittance and the last shred of recognition he needed to become a full fledged noble of Sirion.

Sirion

Shortly after being recognized as a noble, he attended a swordfighting tournament in Westmoor where he placed fourth in a competition of over 100 nobles, losing only to the eventual winner. He led a unit in Sirion's interminable wars for a time, though he quickly became dissatisfied with the realm's leadership. Being outspoken, he quickly became a public critic of the Judge and then the Prime Minister. During this time he also took up the black arts of being an infiltrator, though his career in that field was not especially successful.

As a consequence, he was eventually deported to Beluaterra where he joined the realm of Fronen.

Fronen

In Fronen, Lucius continued to dabble in being an infiltrator for a time before seeking to get involved with the realm's military planning. For his interest, he was rewarded with the position of Marshal of the newly formed Esercito della Spade. He led the army into battle against Sint, Old Grehk and Hetland. After turning down an offer or two he deemed to be beneath him, he was eventually made lord of Yipinalke by Duke Jack Carnes of Vozzessdor. He continued to lead the Esercito thereafter through the Fourth Invasion. Fronen was politically paralyzed at this time, so his army did not see much action. Though the undead were fought against in Qual and Yipinalke and the monsters were fought in Xhagus and Vur Hagin. Ultimately, Senator Diana Calista of Vur Hagin was elected Doge of Fronen and Lucius was thereafter elected Senator of Vur Hagin in her stead. After the Fourth Invasion there was peace for a time, but now Fronen faces a war against four aggressors. The northern duchy of Vore is lost. Vozzesdor may soon follow. What fate will become of Luciius and Fronen, none can see, but Lucius is a power in Fronen and respected by those who know him. If anyone can help to turn Fronen's fortunes around, it is he.
