Feature Requests/Alternative Funding System for Temples and Guild Houses

A new way to fund temples and guildhouses. The purpose is to ease the drudgework of keeping gold in treasuries via manual transfer of funds.

General idea:

• Every maintenance period, gold is taken from the local treasury of the guild/temple exactly as it is done using the current system.
• A corresponding message is sent to the local lord listing the maintenance fees paid by all guildhouses and temples in his region.,
  • Secret society safehouses are specifically excluded! They do not use this new system.
  • The link would only be provided for a temple if the lord is a member of that religion. You should not be able to fund other religions in this manner.
    • Option: Also provide the link if the lord's religion and the temple's religion both consider each other as Variants. Gives additional incentive for Variant classifications, as opposed to Misguided or Ignore.
    • Option: Only allow funding of guilds of which the lord is a member.
• The message to the lord includes a link allowing him to pay the maintenance fee. The link is available to him anywhere, so long as he is not traveling.
  • A separate link is provided for each temple and guildhouse. The lord can choose to support only those he wants to support.
• If the lord clicks the link, then the amount of the maintenance fee is removed from the regional economy and placed in the guildhouse local treasury.
  • Should it come out of the lord's pocket, or can it be pulled from the local economy, like the trade balance?
• If the region has no lord on maintenance day, the no message is generated, and the alternative funding is not available for that maintenance period. As such, temples and guildhouses in rogue regions could not benefit from this system.
• Maintenance fees are still paid as normal: The gold for maintenance still comes from the local treasury. If the local is empty, then the global. If the global is empty then the guildhouse/temple decays as normal.
• The link provided to the lord only replenishes the local treasury by the exact amount of the maintenance fee. It will not save a temple or guildhouse if the local and global are both empty, since the gold would be placed in the treasury after maintenance is counted. In fact, if the temple/guildhouse is disbanded, the lord would not even get a link, just a message saying it fell apart due to lack of funds.
• The lord must click the link to fund each temple/guildhouse if he desires to fund it. It is not an automatic deduction. If he doesn't click the link, then nothing happens and it costs him nothing.
• Guilds also pay taxes. Should the lord also be given a link to refund the tax collected on guild treasuries?
