The Medici Family
The Medicis are native to Giask, Dwilight, dating back many generations as noble merchants and entrepreneurs, though of no true relevance among any noble traders. With successes in the trade, the family was able to finance some of its adults, sending them out into the world. Alessio remaining in Luria, Niccolaio and Cosimo heading off to the Eastern Continent, Vittoria to Beluaterra, and Maddalena to the Colonies.
All seek to bring fame and fortune to the House of Medici and only time will tell if they are successful.
Notable Achievements of the Medici Family
- Alessio de Medici founded the Lurian Herald, a newspaper organisation based in Giask, within the Lurian Empire. It is regularly sent all over Dwilight, with plans to one day send newspapers to the other continents.
- Alessio also sat on the Rostra of Luria Ferrata, aiding in the judicial system.
- Cosimo de Medici once held the Cursed Shield of Truth and while it was lost in battle, some may forever remember it as a Medici relic.
Dynasty Members
Alessio de Medici
The eldest of the active nobility of the Medici family, he is married to Andrea de Medici, and the two of them have triplets, Luca, Lena and Lisa, later a son, Michelangelo and are expecting another baby. He is a family man and driven by the dreams to be a diplomat. He writes, he ponders, he suggests. For Alessio, the pen is mightier than the sword - but the only thing mightier than the pen is the love of his family, a force that will forever drive him.
Niccolaio de Medici
Five years younger than Alessio, Niccolaio has forever lived in his shadow. He has yet to be wed and does not seek to consolidate experiences through the pen. He is a man of action, eager to get things done, and get things done he shall. He remains mostly with himself, looking after his old friend Alistair's lion companion, battling alongside him as a great hero of legend.
Vittoria de Medici
Vittoria has an eye for detail and the will to do things herself when she doubts that others will be able to achieve tasks. She is a training infiltrator while she looks for a husband in Beluattuera. She seeks to find influence through her husband and build Medici success atop it.
Maddalena de Medici
Maddalena has long since been a diligent student, always eager to host and attend parties on the backside of a long day of work. She holds unbridled ambition, looking for allies in high places.
Cosimo de Medici
In the elven realm of Sirion, Cosimo dwells on the lap of luxury. With regular income and the means to a simple life, Cosimo could not ask for, or even want, more in life.
