The Necromancer's Servants

Recently on Beluaterra, a group of commoners have appeared calling themselves the Necromancer's Servants. Little is known about them as yet aside from their names, and their patently absurd claims and ridiculous demands...

Beluaterra/Third Invasion/Necromancers

Known Members

  • Hannibal (who once owned the Legendary Plate Mail of Strength and the Black Shield of Piety, but was killed in Heen, July 13th)
  • Jezabel (Apparently the leader of the other warlocks, killed in Ardmore by Riombaran troops, June 6th)
  • Dominus (seriously wounded in Ardmore, June 5th)
  • Ultima (killed Thromegor by Luzian troops, June 7th)
  • Maldiciones - Note: thought to be a noble, though details are lacking
  • Summoner - Note: Claims to be the leader of the rest, who are his representatives, but is in the Underworld, away from the others.
  • Sarge - Note: Appeared in Mio Dupaki.
  • Vicious - Note: Appeared in Mio Dupaki.

Demands

The Necromancer's Servants have appeared in Mio Dupaki, a province of Riombara. The Servants made themselves known by sending demands to various commoners inhabiting the area. The Servants claim to be attempting to locate five items for their master, the Necromancer. These items are:

Messages received from the Servants.

Since their initial appearance, the Servants have roamed across the southern end of the island, repeating their demands and seeking audiences with rulers of several realms. Whenever the Necromancer's Servants encounter living soldiers, they attack without mercy.

Warnings from Jezabel

The Necromancer's Servants commonly repeat warnings of doom and destruction should their demands not be met. If they are not given assistance in locating the items for which they search, they have threatened to kill all living beings and search the remains.

Warnings received from the Necromancer's Servants.

Monster Swarm

Like the Necromancer's Servants, the Monster Swarm has also sent an invasion force to Beluaterra searching for legendary artifacts of power.

Beluaterra/Third Invasion/Monsters

  • Hulgord
  • Kri'fahj (killed by Fronenian troops on June 8th)
  • Twisted Horn (killed by Sintian troops on June 11th)
  • Snarler
  • Curled Mane
  • One Sight (killed by Avalonian troops on June 24th)
  • Big Fangs (apparently a leader)
  • Drool
  • Loud Tongue
  • Wart Eater

Demands

Hulgord appeared in Oepiud, a province of Thalmarkin with an army of monsters. The following unclear demand was made to adventurers

Letter from Hulgord

Message sent to everyone in the region Oepiud (3 recipients)

You there, yes, you. I know you can hear me!

Where is it? You either help us find it, or suffer. So, speak.

Hulgord (Noble)

Letter from Grigori

Message sent to everyone in the region Oepiud (3 recipients)

Well, it would help if we know what the bloody hell you are talking about. Find it? Find what?

Grigori (Outlaw)

Letter from Hulgord

Message sent to everyone in the region Oepiud (3 recipients)

Be wary of your attitude little man. More impressive people than you have been mere snacks at my table. The item I look for is the Broken Mace of Suffering. Know you where I can find this to retrieve?

Hulgord (Noble)

With that, Hulgord moved on elsewhere.

Letter from Kri'fahj

Message sent to everyone in the region Nuzanki (5 recipients)

You! Yes, you! Hiding in the fortress. So quick to judge, so quick to kill my comrades. Perhaps instead you could help? Yes, help would be good indeed. I am tasked with locating and taking home the Legendary Plate Mail of Strength. What know you of it's being? Where can it be found? Who has it? Where is it? Do you have it? It must be given to me, or I will be forced to take it, and if I have to do that, it won't be nice for anyone.

Kri'fahj

Letter from Kri'fahj

Message sent to everyone in the region Nuzanki (7 recipients)

Is anyone going to give me an idea of where this item is located, or do I take it from the silence that you hold it within this fortress here, and I will stay, bringing more of my comrades with me, and force my way in then search the ruins for it?

Talk or suffer.

Kri'fahj

And for some reason this was the last piece Kri'fahj uttered in Nuzanki before heading south.

The Netherworld

The daimonic forces of the Netherworld appeared on Beluaterra some time around June 24th, 2007. They speak an unintelligible language, and have attacked everyone they can find. They seem to have an affinity for mountainous regions, and have attempted takeovers of several of them.

Beluaterra/Third Invasion/Netherworld

Lead by daimon warlords, hordes of daimons have invaded Beluaterra. The daimon warlords can be killed - in this case their hores disappear. Some of the Lords carry unique items which can be found by adventurers if the warlord is killed.

  • Invisible has appeared in Haffemet with 39 daimons. Two days later, Invisible attacked Mesh and Plergoth in Cwellndell with 47 daimons. Invisible was killed in the battle on June 26th, his remaining daimons vanished. To the dismay of all humans he reappeared one day later in Yokk, leading an even greater force of 190 daimons. He marched eastward through Plergoth, defeating the Creasur city garrison with ease, then proceeded to Enweil lands, where he was killed. He respawned yet again in Cwellndell on July 1st.
  • Unspeakable has appeared in Iknopata with 55 daimons and was killed in Aku by Sintian and Monster troops on July 2nd.
  • Ethereal has appeared in Yermon with 73 daimons on June 25th 1007 and was killed in Fronepu by Fronian troops on July 2nd.
  • Silent has appeared in Jobo's Mouth with 160 daimons on July 1th and was killed there by Sintian and Monster troops on July 8th.
  • Improbable has appeared in ? (Sint?) with 420 daimons and was killed in Fianik by Sintian and Monster troops on June 6th
  • Arcane did appear somewhere in the northeastern mountains (?), did head south through Fronen, stormed Fwuvoghor, stormed Athol Margos and was killed in a large battle in Avengmil by Riombaran, Alluran, Undead and Luzian troops on July, 9th.

This is the information we have thus far.

Partial IC: There are rumours of a priest searching for examples of daimon speech. He requests that any found could be placed here, in hopes that he, and others, could attempt to translate it.
