Ash Sea Islands

One of the original realms of Atamara, ASI has a long, rich history. Origninally a Republic, ASI now governs itself as a Monarchy. Recently, ASI bested Tara in a long War, which ended with the eventual acquistion of two of the Tarans Cities, one of which was their old Capital of Aja.

Loyalty, and honor are the most important things to our realm. We hear and respect everyones opinion. All troop leaders are treated as Nobles and we expect them to act as ones in return. The realm stresses obedience to orders which are rarely given.

This realm roleplays, and expects it.

                             The story of ASI 

ASI was formed back in the old days. It was an empire that controlled the regions from Riverholm to Barnlure. First King was Silver Stone.Our lands where had high strategic importance and keeping them prooved to be difficult.

                              The first big War

At a point and for unknown, to me, reasons Abington attacked ASI and the downfall began. ASI was attacked from many other realms and was forced to surrender after loosing all the Islands. We kept: Ser’quea-Mapo-Jauchu-Inxi-Lerss-Hegado.Silver Stone was forced to immigrate to the New World (Buleaterra now) and the General, Talius Sargeras took over. Our realm stayed in peace for very long. We where unable to claim what we lost and also we where in the middle of two big alliances:

These two where at war.The King chose to stay out.We where in the middle and also the entrance to Abby or the entrance to Tara. Both alliances wanted us to their side but also both would like to see us out of the way. We managed to survive mostly doing trading and watching the huge battles on our boarders

                            ASI on the offensive

After sometime Southasland attacked us and a long-lasting war started. No one was gaining anything but we where both very passionate to win. At that point a new General arrived, Jorel of Kent, and our war started to go better. A new ally appeared, Norland ,with many troops came to our help and we started gaining lands. Southalsand hired Darka and looters appeared in our lands. After sometime BoM came to loot SH and the war was balanced again.Numerous battles mostly for the control of Mapo,ASI had no archers and we could't build RCs back then,but no one could say that they would win the war.Falasan came to help but it was hopeless.Both ASI and SH where fighting hard.Finally both sides agreed to sign peace and there where talks for merging the realms.After some peace time we joined an alliance that seemed to be the best for our realms.

ASI had a new King,Lelnor, and we decided to attack RS for revenge since they had looted our lands during the big war with Abby.It came to be a disaster,ASI was't ready for war and in a battle in Ambermell we lost and our King died.It was a sad day for the realm since he was among us for years and was respected by most of the Nobles.The realm ended the war and had to reconsider all diplomatic relations.Venom took the throne.

Drago came to the throne of Abinghton and a new era begun for the realtions of the two realms.A hard diplomacy started so that ASI could take their old capital(Ash'rily) back and some of the Islands in order to restore the RP that is behind our name.A "war" started and we took: Veshin-Yacon-Ash’rily.

After that ASI was capable to enter a war and defent its self.Tara was the target and SH was already hiting them in need of lands to feed their city.We went to help our ally and things where going very well until Tuchanon II players took over Southasland and made it Tuchanon III with Tara’s support.You can find more for this in the Southasland page.Our new ally and beloved friend was lost and a new tyrant took the throne.Many nobles from SH joined us seeking help to kill the rebels.The allies where gathered ,Falasan-MI-Norland-BoM ,and killed that realm giving their lands to Falasan.Venom steped down,since he was't able to follow the facts and Talius Sargeras came back to power again.ASI was already hiting Tara and was trying to keep Darka away while the others where TOing Tucha.It was an uneven war with Tara having more income from what we had but the superiority of our amry was prooved many times.Abby came to help but CE appeared with looting intentions.We lost a major battle in Inxi that brought all ASI council,except the General Doc'Revenge,in CE prison.Elections where help and Nautilus that had managed to get out of jail won them.A new council was formed,DR stayed in his position.

Talks with RS where on the edge and while the war continued we came to an agreement for peace in the begging and alliance a litle after.Tara was falling.We had gained Rogeshore-Byblack-Jagla-Tichi and when we started a TO in Sullenport the Duke Surrendered the city.Tara was forced to accept peace.In order to give them peace we asked and took Aja.The war WAS OVER.

ASI in a gesture of friendship fixed the city of Sullenport and gave it to RedSpan.

Now we have invited all Nobles of Atamara to join us and all together celebrate the end of the war.A tournament is announced and we hope that it will be the biggest ever.When it is over I will post the stats.
