Shadovar has no state religion at this time and it is not illegal to start a new relligion, Though a religion must obtain the permission of the local lord/Duke before either preaching or building temples. If a new Lord or Duke refuses to allow that religion to preach or build any new temples, that is his/her right. However it is not permissible to tear down existing temples unless either 1. Permission is obtained from the religion, 2. There are no (0) believers in that faith in that region. 2a. the religion must be notified and given the oportunity to remove any gold from the temple. 2b. It is prefered that the priest(s) of that religion be given the oportunity to tear down their own temple. The cost of which is the responavility of the Lord of the region. | |||
