Surrounded by harsh regions of barren tundra, Crim surprisingly possesses arable and fertile fields that yield good harvest. Being inland of the northeast coast, the climate is less affected by the ocean, though it is still cold nearly year-round. | |||
Improvements in agricultural technology has advanced the people of Crim from the earlier days of subsistence farming, where hunting was a necessity, especially in the winter months. However, even now, hunting is a valued tradition and still provides the majority of sustenance in the winter when crops no longer grow.
