The Raivan Empire was formed on November 29, 2008. During the opening days of the war between Springdale and Virovene (itself newly formed by secession from Springdale), Duke Edward Raiva seceded the city of Aegir from the kingdom of Springdale. The new government was formed as a tyranny, with Duke Edward as the ruler. The realm is known for Aegir's trade ports, which rival the ones in Springdale city for size and trade income.
