The Eighth Age of Beluaterra

The age of humanity that arose beneath the protection of the Creasur Wall.

First Age of Beluaterra | Second Age of Beluaterra | Third Age of Beluaterra | Fourth Age of Beluaterra | Fifth Age of Beluaterra | Sixth Age of Beluaterra

Summary

The Eighth Age of Beluaterra started in March 2022, and is primarily one of rebuilding and re stabilization after the major unholy hordes of the south stopped attacking humanity.

The Creasur Wall

With the Creasur Wall protecting humanity in The North from the hordes of The South, there came a time of peace and rebuilding. But soon the hordes began to avoid the wall by walking through the ocean and coming up on the shores to assault humanity again.

History

  • Nothoi abandoned Tindle, as well as most of the non-fortified regions south of their mountains to the constant hordes throughout 2022, fighting them mostly behind the walls of Reeds and Dyomoque.
  • Scrollsong - A portal in Gor Ault caused scrolls across the land to explode in August 2022 and wounded many nobles.
  • Another portal appeared in Creasur in April 2023, and Yao Ling and Betty Pryde moved to twist it to their will and fight the hordes. Yao Ling entered the portal, and left with a book that told of many ways to fight the dead. Betty became one with the portal and emerged as a being of pure fire that used a whip of magical energy to devastate the monster and undead hordes throughout The South. Burning Betty never returned to the lands of the living.
  • Nothoi liberated Creasur from the undead hordes and spent the following months rebuilding the destroyed city. It soon became a major fortress for humanity to use when human armies of all realms cooperated to drive into the south to destroy the undead.
  • Thalmarkin merged into Ar Agyr and the combined realm became the largest and most powerful realm on the continent.
