The return to Darka

Long had his family lived in the shadows. His father (Wimpie) and mother died when he was still very young. However, he did hear all the stories of Wimpie's life in Darka and on Beluaterra. When Osgar turned 20, he felt the time had come to take up his sword and return to the place where it had all begun for his father, Darka. He became knight of a little region called Winser and so his adventure began...

After a serious hit to the head, Osgar went into a coma for several months, some even say years (OOC: paused). When he returned, he found himself in rogue lands. Darka was no more, as it was obliterated by its enemies. He found refuge in Talerium only to stay there for a month. He had ambition and emigrated to Beluaterra, to find more battles.

The North of Beluaterra

After landing on the continent Beluaterra, he joined the realm of his Uncle Gummie: Thalmarkin. A very active and enjoyable realm. He recognized names from the tales of his Uncle. He had no struggle to fit right in.

His Uncle co-founded a religion in these very same lands, called The Order of the Golden Feather. It still existed but was rather inactive and soon all of the temples got sacked because there were no Elders left. Osgar took the task upon himself and together with strong-believers Reginald II Von Borghoff and Jack Carnes recreated the Golden Feather.

As a very ambitious noble in his 30's, Osgar divided his time by joining the armies on numerous campaigns, while Reginald II and Jack stayed home and preached to the folks. Osgar served as Crystal Feather and tried to take the communication within the Order under his wings. It was not long until the Legion of the Wolf was looking for a new Vice Marshal. Osgar did not hesitate and applied (and got) the position. Leading the army under Jonn Kingsley was a great honour. In light of aiding the spread of the Order, Osgar also took up the Lordship of Ukh. While he was away, Lady Athena and many others of the 'Home Guard' took care of the region.

Thalmarkin was a very ambitious realm who fought for the King of Kings, Beard of Bears, King Fingolfin. Any realm that did not bow to the idea of uniting the human realms as one against possible invasions of Monsters, Undead and other creatures, were an enemy. Spearhold, Nothoi, Caelum and even Riombara were that kind of realms, which opposed Thalmarkin. The main fight was being held between Thalmarkin/Old Grehk vs Spearhold/Nothoi though. With Nothoi taking Keffa from Old Grehk, tactics became important to win the war. Eventually under General Agnes the Man Stomper and later General Dunbor, Gethsemene was taken by Thalmarkin from Spearhold. Soon enough the idea rose to create a new realm in the North West, if only we could hold on to more lands surrounding Gethsemene.

With Spearhold struggling with internal affairs, they were too weak to defend themselves against the mighty force of Thalmarkin. Regions in the North West were claimed by both sides and Fianik ended up in our posession, while Ar Agyr came to the aid of Old Grehk by fighting of Nothoi in the South. Spearhold seemed to have died from the inside. General Josep of Spearhold won the rebellion against the current throne and was more Thalmarkin-minded. A new era had begun.

Gotland

Not too soon after this rebellion, official papers were signed regarding a cease fire. Judge Chilperik, Margrave of Gethsemene and Duke of the Duchy Gotland, was allowed to create a new realm in the North West with Gethsemene as its capital, it would be named Gotland. It was a tyrrany who served under the King of Kings and in the Thalmar ways. They followed the ways of the Herd as Exalted Tyrant Chilperik had always done as Judge of Thalmarkin.

A few nobles joined Gotland, being the Lords of the regions involved. Sir Chilperik, his wife Lady Agnes the Man Stomper, skilled man of the shadows Sir Stegman and Lady Shella. This meant that the position of Judge of Thalmarkin had to re-elected as well. Without too much of a doubt, Baron and Vice-Marshal Osgar candidated for this position. The election ended in a close win for Osgar, against long standing veteran Duke Pyrix Questor, who held the position for a long time in the days that Osgar's uncle Gummie was still there. The third contestant was Lady Athena, a very skilled and beloved courtier who gave her life looking after the lands of Thalmarkin. She came in third with only some votes.
