After searching the area for 2 hours, following trails and noises, Hogni finally encountered a warband of militant, heavily armed undead.
They were led by an undead champion, an evil creature with more power and intelligence than the usual lot.
The battle raged, Hogni against the undead. His blows landed true, shattering them to dust left and right.
The champion made him sweat; he was quite the opponent. But in the end, he was just a pile of bones, too.
Among what is left of the champion, Hogni find treasures worth a total of 4 gold, 1 silver.
Hogni also found a unique item among the loot, the "Whistling Breastplate". The unique magic of this armor is the whistling that it emits as the wearer walks. Should the wearer quicken their pace, the whistling will also quicken and increase in loudness.
