This circlet was a gift from Kettle, ruler of the Zuma Coalition, to Calypso Hwitt at a celebration heldd in honor of Calypso's time in service to the Zuma Coalition. It is made of polished malachite with deep black veins that seem to absorb any light that touches them.
Inset in the circlet are five bright blue topaz stones. The two outermost are cloudy, and seem to have waves like the sea. The two middle stones are streaked with jagged white lines, small fractures in the topaz that look like lightning. The middle stone is the largest, and has no imperfections. It reflects the light in dozens of directions and seems to give a soft blue glow in the sun.
Kettle gave this item to Calypso and told her that it was a relic of Calypso's Goddess, the Tidemother. It is unknown how the Kettle came to possess the circlet, but it is evident to any that hold it that the item holds an otherworldly power. When Calypso wore the circlet, she was given a serenity that no distress could break, though it is unknown what effects the relic would have on others.
