It has been a while since I've reported. Why? The newspaper office was BURNED TO THE GROUND for a very, very simple reason. ESTON DOES NOT WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Let me put it this way. Massillion can support something like 20,000 people, and had about that many people, prior to this bloodbath in the streets. Then the Estonites attacked, and began a takeover. The people resisted, and starvation was rampant in the city. They began a second one, and many more peasents died as hunger grew worse, and Estonite troops refused any aid, and butchered everyone they found wearing Massillionite colors. Then, their TO was repulsed again! Then they began a THIRD TO! And began to MASSACRE CITIZENS, ROB GOLD, BURN THE FEW BUSHELS OF FOOD AVAILABLE, RAPE THE YOUNG LADIES, KILL ANY MAN CAPABLE OF BEARING ARMS, and DESTROY BUILDINGS OF EVERY SORT. It is rare that atrocities of THIS MAGNITUDE have occurred. The sheer hatred Eston has caused among the people has resulted in some 1,500 Massillionites rising up agains the Estonite forces. The Estonites, naturally, form up, and slaughter these people in overwhelming battles. The regular army of Massillion is reeling, but trying to regroup. Peace is not possible so long as Eston is in our city, the PEOPLE could not accept it, even if we could. The death toll of this Sack of Massillion is now at about 9,000 civilians, and some 4500 military personnel. How high must it go before the world takes notice? How many more must die before you apathetic, uncaring, and indifferent foreigners heed our plight? How long will you sit at a distance and say, "Oh, what a shame those people had to die", when you HAVE THE POWER TO SAVE THEM! WHY do you not send AID!? Perhaps, politically, you side with Eston. I can see the logic in that. Perhaps, historically, you side with Eston. I can see the logic in that. But HOW can you claim to have a SINGLE SHRED OF HONOR when you side with those who MASSACRE ALMOST HALF THE POPULATION OF AN ENTIRE DUCHY in the name of "national unity"? How long before you heed your consciences?

The end is here. 15,000 CS of Norlandish, Baronial, and Estonite troops stormed our city this morning. In the hard-fought battle, our 7,000 CS was pulverised and beaten to a smashed pulp of blood and broken bone. As the people starve in the streets, disease is setting in from the rotting wounds in the summer heat. No suitable candidates for ruler have been found, and the nation has descended into anarchy, a leaderless rabble. As it stands now, I am the leading official of Massillion: Duchess of the Capitol City; Massillion. May whatever forces there are protect us in this time.

Well, Malor fell. My old region was taken over... but, meanwhile, we launched a successful attack on Tintar, routing the Estonite forces there as the Vikings, now allied with Eston it seems, mass in Agnilar, and the Estonites mass in Malor. At this critical juncture, I, Onliana Vellos, have been appointed Duchess of Massilion. I am honored, and shall do my best.

Okay, we've done remarkably well. We've been around almost a month, yet only lost one region to a realm vastly larger than ours. The region was Agnilar, in case you were wondering. Now, Eston is TOing Malor, unfortunately. But all the same, hope never dies! Long live Massillion the Bold! Long live Shweetios!
