Shouldn't this:
Be this: ? --Indirik 21:31, 16 October 2007 (CEST)

Right, good idea. However, now that I think of it... We should try to see if it's possible to make it numerical, which would assure a chronological order instead of alphabetical by year then month. The only way I can think of is making 12 subpages with content of "1", "2", "3",..."12" though. Some Template:(Something)/{month}. -Chénier 14:02, 17 October 2007 (CEST)

I don't think this came out the way you wanted it to come out:

shouldn't that be:

I suppose I could try it, and see what happens... --Indirik 23:50, 17 October 2007 (CEST)

I changed it on the DDNews template, but I don't see any affect on the category page at all. Maybe I'm not understanding how it works, or what it does. --Indirik 23:53, 17 October 2007 (CEST)

Nop, the original was correct, as the template used is Template:Numerical Months/{month}}}. If you didn't notice a difference, it's either due to some weird behavior I can't understand, or most likely, whichever value it gave simply happened to give the same order. the "/" will place the archives in chronological order in the index, the "|" will either do the same, something completely messed up, or nothing at all. -Chénier 02:15, 18 October 2007 (CEST)
OK. I'll trust you that it's working like you want it to work. I haven't looked too much at categories, so you're almost certainly right. --Indirik 03:41, 18 October 2007 (CEST)
The effect is not noticeable now, because there are only 3 months, but once we get into 2008 it should show. -Chénier 03:57, 18 October 2007 (CEST)
