Observers of The Blackest Cult

Greetings all who see.

I ask, why is it that most governments are evil but tend to use their power to control and limit their people? is it because they fear equals or an uprising in result of allowing their people true evil freedom? I do not question their right to being so selfish and iron-handed (that would be a direct slap to much of the words I leak daily), I just wonder why evil governments always hide their true colors.

Could it be that they can not build a nation with enough lovers of freedom that they could maintain a hold on the thrown? Or is it that they are selfishly hoarding the freedoms of evil for themselvs and herding the "good" sheep?

Are they afraid of the numbers of good out numbering the numbers of evil within their realms?

Or are they just enjoying the bounties that are produce by farming "good" cattle?

I wonder. Abington, Carelia and Cagilan Empire seem to be herding sheep instead of fearing evil, since there is a huge public display of evil. Its sad these nations can not agree to be openly evil, instead of hideing like worms. I respect them for being some of the most underhanded governments known to man...I just wonder why they do not promote their evil openly when the Kings, prime minister, justicars and judges are all, without a doubt, evil at the root.

The Blackest Cult's preachers have just left the vile lands of CE. The Prime minister there was a fine man. No one I perosnally want dead, but if you do, then kill him! Anyway. We found five more people to walk with us on our quest to bring a new world. The BC has grown and now our preachers travel west. The preachers are starting to call this walk "The Blackest World Tour", and it has come to far to ever be stopped now. The virus is out, and the people want to be sick! Hail the BC!

Know that the vile creatures in Outer Tilog have heard wispers of your efforts. AlexTurner 22:30, 13 August 2006 (CEST)

The Evil shall be helped on it's way for so long as it does not hinder my progress, also, in the East. Widfara/--The1exile

The gods and creatures of Outer Tilog are of great evil, and for that I seek to commune with them on all matters of chaos and understanding. I am honored to know they have heard my prayers, and I pay homage unto them for their unholy greatness. May my love further summon their wisedom and chaos closer to us all.

The Blackest Pen

Widfara.

That is a wonderful offer. I hope to promote and help your progress with supporting evil. Thank you for your favored retort, and your wisdom.

Northern Beluaterra is vulnerable at the moment. If the cult's eyes were to shift in that direction, there is much power to be had with little effort. A war over religion has made Sint overconfident, and it's victims weak and desperate. A strong leader could easly bend several realms to his will. ShadowWatcher

SW ShadowWatcher. You show inteligence in seeing our plans correctly. Though it may not be in Beluaterra (or it may), after "The Blackest World Tour", our Cult does plan to invade and take over a land of our choice. It will then be renamed "Decadence" and be allowed to be the first Freedom based land in all the world. But we will need great numbers for this. Once we have enough allies and supporters, we will then hold a meeting. All of our members and allies will then debate in secret on who we should invade, and why. From there we will all choose a government. As The Blackest Pen (If I am alive to see our dream) I will NOT be taking any title of power within that land. My word is solid and I serve only evil, not myself or any land. My only reward in this quest of duty is to see Evil finally have its empire and rightful place. I will hope to see a truly evil lord elected on that day. One who allows the freedom I have seen in visions. I hope everyone keeps their eyes on the prize, and agrees that evil MUST own at lest one Kingdom.

The Blackest Pen

Beware; there are those who guard the ideals of 'Good' who have already seen through your enemy's ruse. (I know not how to better communicate what I mean, without revealing it myself). Good should not be underestimated. There are those who have seen through eyes of darkness, who have studied that shadows, who know the night, and yet walk to path of 'light'. I do not belive they are in a position to reveal this deception, but know that they exist, and are now watching. ShadowWatcher

Shadowwatcher. I beware nothing. I can die a million times, the Gods will mind not one flicker. The matter is this, those who share the same enemy are the same animal. I will beware no animal same as me. I will offer him my hand thrice. For each bite I shall poison the beast's heart with respect for me. After the beast has had its fill of my blood it will swoon with love for what is TRUE. We need not farm good NO LONGER to serve the few evils in power. There will be a movement for ALL evil. If you speak of evil kings and queens lording over a few coins and plots of land in a mask of good....keep you eye clean and see the truth...those evils are "good" and those "goods" will either help the darkest cause to bring freedom to ALL evils, or die at the hands of a billion free men and women.

OOC

The wiki is generally mostly OOC; there's no reason to have an anonymous user here, because what you say here, as long as it's clearly OOC, can't be used back in the game. AlexTurner 22:23, 13 August 2006 (CEST)

So you say. But I have already seen many players break this understanding of OOC. Not always by direct desire to "cheat", but by not understanding the full idea on OOC. Its very common for people who are not HUUUUUGE roleplay nerds (like myself who lives for table top RP games) to confuse or not graspe the finer points behind OOC and its limits. meta-gameing is a rampant problem at table top games, even in groups of 8-11 peope...in a group this size, I would rather protect our RP cult by keeping much of its members and workings mysterious.

It also adds to the whole "creepy" side of it all. But I do agree and and understand. You dont HAVE to hide your user name. But I have already had had three in-game players ask one of my other non-cult players about stuff that my charicture has NO idea of...they just assume OOC means hey, its YOU as a player so your charicture gotta know too!

The Blackest Pen

I suppose. I've not had that ever happen to me, but I guess it may be because my two 'good' characters are well known to be, well, good. AlexTurner 02:05, 14 August 2006 (CEST)

I've kept my identity secret, because I don't want my other two characters to be typecast with my possessed character. The other two are respected and loved characters, my third keeps to himself. Servant of Dhall 10:40, 7 December 2006 (CET)

Bingo. My other 2 characters are also huge goody goodies, and I have no reason to play by such secret rules with them. But to limit the desire to meta-game, the evil movement we are building must be more "careful" of people who may succumb to playing unfair to beat these really bad people.

Newspaper

Why not make the Word a newspaper of sorts? ShadowWatcher

I really hope to make it something like that in the future. But right now we are more focusing on getting people together. Its a hard thing to grasp, what we are dong. A guild-ish thing of all collected evils, like a super villan club.

Clans

Make sure you read this section; you will need to be very carefull not to ruin the game for your victims.

Are clans allowed in this game?

My position on clans is very simple. One, it is not illegal to have friends. Two, having fun with friends should not diminish the fun of everyone else. If you want to play with and/or against friends, whether you call it a clan or not, that's fine with me. When whatever your group does wipes out the fun for other players, you'll feel my wrath. This mostly means that it is not ok to take over a realm for your clan. There are always other players around, and I expect you to play nice with them. You can form a guild and use that as your in-game clan representation, as long as other players can join as well (imposing conditions is fine, imposing unrealistic and especially OOC conditions like "must live in our street" is not). You get the idea: As long as your clan does not exclude others from having fun, I'm ok with it.

Being evil should not diminish the fun of the other players in the game. they shoud be happy their good charcters have something to rail against. --The1exile 15:46, 14 August 2006 (CEST)

Well This is where things are often confused, and I fully think Tom will be the ending voice on this. Alot of people are playing along, the in-game Dogma was made to fully suporrt that rule of Tom's

When the creative minds behind this idea came about, we made sure to make it a fully "evil" in-game RP thing for ALL players. It welcomes everyone (evil usually does), It allows everyone to fight them (or ignore them), and it is really giveing alot of people fun. But its true some players hate it. Its really a in-game plot to promote role play in the realms and maybe bring a new roleplayed religeion in game (if Da Goat was this effective would he be looked at? Surly not..he isnt evil)

I think the majority of people upset with this in-game group take things towards not likeing the "roleplay" aspect, or that they think we cause chaos...both these things are in-game, but they take it out of game.

I fully understand those who don't like it..but honestly I judge it as an in-game evil, annoying as is- it should have to be delt with in-game. As a new movement. As an enemy or friend to each player who wishes to not ignore it.

The group has gotten alot of players to join. Since the group dosn't seem to control or order any single player, it also allows free will. Its really a well designed mechanic that alot of writers got to gether to see what would happen if it was introduced into a cyber world. It would be sad to see all the hard work, and players who enjoy it, removed for putting trust into a roleplay senerio that seeks to be very interesting and fun for all those who enjoy more then the stat-side of Battlemaster.

Brain.

I don't think it should be a problem at this point; but just be carefull not to, say, mass ban every other troopleader. AlexTurner 16:46, 14 August 2006 (CEST)

Why not? bans are fun. I know, I've got loads. --The1exile 17:05, 14 August 2006 (CEST)
