Cause of War

XD -Chénier 04:38, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

I laugh every time I read this, considering how Old Grehk was the one to declare war on Fronen and seing their nobles brainwashed and mislead by their leadership who end up actually believing themselves. XD -Chénier 18:47, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
I would be interested in your point of view - to my eyes the history told here sounds rather unbiased for one telling it from the viewpoint of Old Grehk. I may be misinformed (I had no character on the continent when this happened), but if it is indeed wrong there should be material to support your point, preferably as unbiased as possibleTanSerrai 22:18, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Old Grehk and Neo Grehk were uniting when the lord of Yipinalke joined Fronen for a week and then rejoined the merged realm. Using that week of ownership, Fronen claimed Yipinalke with military force, in order to allow them access to Vore. From there, the two sides began their war, with Old Grehk losing badly, though helped with such acts as Vozzessdor changing allegiance to Bara'Khur and Fronen. -- (Praetor, Senator, and Ambassador Jefferson Vita of Bil Havil, Melhed) Ethan Lee Vita (Talk), Editor and Community Manager 02:55, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Colours on the map

You should make that teal in a tint closer to blue. ;) Sint, Heen, Mesh and Hetland declared war on Enweil to help Riombara. Enweil has attacked Sint and defended Bara'Khur, which was attacked by Hetland after Bara'Khur declared war on Old Grehk. Mesh is actively defending Hetland, and Riombara just sent an army to help Hetland by drawing Enweil's army out. Though perhaps not direct diplomaticly, the works of these two realm directly contributes to help Old Grehk. -Chénier 03:49, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to rewrite the introduction (or possible just write a new section) to explain the diplomatic situation; the map will probably make more sense once that's done. Actually my original version of the map had Riombara and Mesh in green rather than teal, but I changed it so it was clearer who they were fighting.
Incidently, do you lot have a more formal name? I'm painfully aware that "eastern confederation" is just something I made up. --Iltaran 09:25, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
No. The alliances are mostly military, on the diplomatic level there's many parties who don't talk to each other or who aren't at war with everyone. There are also wars between realms not at "war" (ex: Hetland and Enweil). On the military level there is some global communication, though the Military Alliance guild (a more successful counterpart to the Military Fellowship guild). I just personally divide it among the eastern Civilized and the western Primitives. ;) -Chénier 16:26, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
