Riombaran Law is founded on these truths:

Every position does come with duties.
No favors based on friendship nor relation. All nobles can aspire to any position.
The right to "Free Speech", in political discourse.
Absolute obedience within the Military.
Giving as much responsibility (full votes) and information (food status, morale status, diplomacy...) as possible to all nobles.
Encouraging ideas and constructive criticism in an open forum.

Articles of Nation and Policy

*The State of Riombara comes first, before any individual noble's interest, including—and especially—the Prime Minister and Dukes.
*Only one position is allowed per family in Riombara.
*The Prime Minister may petition money to finance special projects.
*Any money earned through regions is considered the State's money, and should benefit the State in it's usage.
*All are welcome in Riombara, unless they are known to have acted against the realm in the past.

Articles of Expectation and Duty

*Council Members who miss 3 votes in a row should consider stepping down.
*The Banker is expected to report on our food situation weekly.
*The Prime Minister must report anything from the ruler channel that is not considered "secret".
*Any noble may call for a full election on any position or a councilvote on any proposed law if they find 4 supporters.
*All High Officials of Riombara must strive to remain neutral in public and in official statements.

Articles of Voting and Ratification

There are two different types of Votes: Full Vote (all nobles vote) and Council Vote. For voting rules, see: Riombara/Elections and Voting. Voting follows these guidelines:
*Diplomacy: Prime Minister needs a Council Vote when going to war or changing relations to peace.
*Judge needs a Council Vote to issue a Ban.
*All position appointments are decided by Full Vote.
*An Item of Policy may be brought before the Council by a Council Member, or by any noble who has the support of four other nobles.
*Council Members have 3 days to vote on policy items. Any Council Member who has not voted is considered neutral.
